This week, we're going to start looking at some of the words that get used all the time in church, the Bible or in Christian circles. Some of these words are unhelpful without the proper definition or explanation... in fact, I like to call these words: Christianese. They're words that Christians use, that anyone outside of church (or those without a long history in the church) might not understand. We're going to define these words, and help to give context to them. Today's word is GOSPEL, which is the "good news" of Jesus, our Savior, to us. When we talk about the Gospel, we're talking about the BIG story of the Bible, and the smaller story of how that BIG story changes our lives.
Our passage today is: John 3:16
