  • 25 - Heart Breaking & Heart Warming
History is filled with the good, the bad, and the ugly. Including our multiracial history. One is heartbreaking and the other is heartwarming.

The heartbreaking story is about a serial killer, Joseph Paul Franklin who targeted multiracial couples, allies, and two influential public figures.

The heartwarming story is about Gertrude Weaver, of mixed race, who in 2015 became the oldest person in the world and received recognition from President Barack Obama.

The final segment is about what I found out in my family tree as well as experiences that my Black mother and White father encountered that were not newsworthy, but important.
