Generation X-Men

Say it with me one more time: Awwww Phoenix!!!! That's right everyone it's The Fate of The Phoenix in this epic finale of the Dark Phoenix Saga. Aranin Hala, it's time for the showdown we've all been waiting for The Imperial Guard vs The X-Men. A bunch of great action in this ep and how Lilandra deals with their rogue guardian of creation.
Mutant Merch returns PLUS we celebrate our 3 year Anniversary with our bonus ep announcement.

PHOENIX, PHOENIX, PHOENIX! Aww Phoenix!!! We're breaking down one of the best episodes in The Dark Phoenix Saga -- Part III The Dark Phoenix! The voice of Jean Grey (Catherine Disher) has one of the single most outstanding vocal performances in the entire series. Ranging from the powerful supreme being and a creepy childish Jean Grey in her childhood room.

The Dark Phoenix is in full flight here in all her glory and with X-Men: The Last Stand and 2019's Dark Phoenix it's hard to believe that X-Men: The Animated Series still has the best adaptation of the original comic book.

PLUS -- Brooksey and I talk about all the online theories of how The X-Men are going to be introduced into the MCU. Personally I think Brooksey has the best method. Tune into the episode to find out.

BONUS ep for everyone today, we're ranking every film in the MCU and comparing it to 2 online rankings of the most well received movies in the MCU.
Buckle in because this is a quite a long list.

Aww Phoenix! It continues with The Inner Circle (don't call us Hellfire) We breakdown part 2 of the Dark Phoenix saga where nearly 30 years later it's still the best adaptation of the classic comic book.
This episode is famous for the GIF of Wolverine carving up a turkey leg but it's also so much more. Jean is introduced to "new sensations" (which is mentioned more times than Uncle Ben's speech in a Spider-Man flashback) Wolverine saving the day again, Mastermind with his victorian ages glove slaps and aristocrats fighting peasants, blank faced goons and purple jacketed wait staff.
The escalating quality of The Dark Phoenix Saga is undeniable PLUS we discover another scene that was removed from the DVD release. All this plus another review in Generation Mailbag so tune in to enjoy it all my fellow Generation X-Men-ers.

Awwww Phoenix!!!... Again.
That's right part 1 of The Dark Phoenix Saga and it is quite the saga. Kickin' it off with Dazzled, where Jeans back and now Cyke decides to go to the club in his best casual suit to pick up girls.
We breakdown Scott's suicidal motives for cheating on The Phoenix aswell as debuting a new segment called "Agree or Disagree." That's where we take a popular online article and breakdown whether on not we agree or disagree. This weeks topic is from screen rant: "X-Men Origins: Wolverine's Opening Is What The Movie Should've Been"
No Marvel Movie News because everything's canned due to COVID19. Can safely assume New Mutants is still on the shelf.

The not so thrilling conclusion to Savage Land, Strange Heart Part 2. We talk about missed opportunities, stock footage in flashbacks and rock people in loin cloths. Dinosaurs and energy absorption is what this episode's about and Storm cutting loose as her alter ego The Weather Witch!!!
Marvel Movie News -- Everything's delayed so we're going through the internet's picks for the MCU's live action X-Men reboot. Who makes the cut? Find out as we break it down.

WE'RE BACK!
After nearly a year long hiatus, the #1 podcast for X-Men: The Animated Series returns! Jumping straight into Savage Land, Strange Heart. Will the return to the Savage Land be more fun than the return to the Mojoverse?
X-Men: The Animated Series and Generation X-Men is hotter than ever thanks to Disney Plus, will there be a season 6? We delve into it.
Marvel Movie News: touch on Spider-Man: Not Far From Home and the perpetually delayed New Mutants along with the recently delayed Black Widow and Venom 2.

We know Iceman is kool but does he have the X-Factor? You bet he does. This ep is a return to form for the series and the last of the lost episodes I believe. We get the debut of Bobby Drake plus an extended cameo of X-Factor. I wish we got to see more of these guys; I love Strong Guy and Multiple Man! We revisit previous episode; Longshoot and discuss censored scenes in the dvd versions. More Q&A and Mutant Merch too.
PLUS Marvel Movie News this week includes a discussion about how Kevin Feige may have sabotaged Dark Phoenix with Captain Marvel and how Spider-Man: Far From Home is testing.

The culmination of 10 years of Marvel The Never Ending Story wraps up with fan service to cover up the plot holes. Haha just kidding (or am I)
Don't crucify me Marvel Junkies we praised the ground it walks on on this 3hr epic as we breakdown some of our favourite bits and a parts we didn't enjoy. Have a listen and tell us what you think.

Ah man, what happened here; Mojo's back again?!
Brooksey and I breakdown the untimely return of Mojo; this time he's on earth. Longshoot and Jubilee crush on each other while Wolverine tries his best to save the episode from quips and 90's references. Hear Brooksey and myself cook up some alternative Mojo episodes on the spot that don't sound too bad whilst simultaneously; be confused by a Pyramid/Protoss Nexus appear outta nowhere during the final battle.
PLUS Mutant Merch returns with some Marvel Legends X-Men Action Figures. QnA / Fan Questions are happening too. Be sure to check out our reviews for Dark Phoenix and Avengers Endgame too which didn't make the cut; due to the podcast being 2.5 hours long again.
