Generation X-Men

The Boys are back in town which means the shows back and we've got Reunion Part 2. The thrilling conclusion to the Savage Land saga. Wrapping up all things Mutates and Nasty Boyz; talking He-Man and Battlecat... sorry Kazaar and Zabu and Kazaar's awful plans and body odour. Marvel Movie News returns with our thoughts on the latest regarding James Gunn and Captain Marvel. Was fun getting back into the swing of things and hope to get back to ur regularly scheduled listening.

Reunion Part 1 -- Big bounce back from the terror of Mojovision. We're back in the Savage Land and we're staying there for a little longer now. Also a SURPRISE location for Wolverine, Cyclops and Jean in their hunt for Morph. Also a debut of He-Man... I mean Kazar and his noble stead Zabu. The Nasty Boys return as we discuss what we want from our Nasty Boys spin-off as well as breaking down the rest of the episode.

Did I say the last episode was wacky? Well Beauty and The Beast has nothing on this cluster: Mojovision! What were they on and do they have any left to share? This is Beetlejuice, Running Man, Grandmaster and Jabba the Hutt all rolled into one, with more Marvel cameos and TV show spoofs where everyone dies. Sounds crazy? It is, really bloody crazy. That's why Brooksey and I recruited one of our good mates from primary school: Crowtherl to help us burndown the Mojoverse and bury the ashes. (I joke but it seriously was a difficult watch.) We also have Marvel Movie News with our thoughts on Deadpool 2 and my favourite: Cable.

INFINITY WAR! We have thoughts on it too vast to fit into the regular podcast so this is Marvel Movie News and Avenger Infinity War MINI Review. What we liked and what I didn't (brooksey didn't not like anything -- loved it) Tune and to find out what I thought was missing.

We're back with Beauty and Beast. No more X-Men: Origins stories unfortunately. Would've loved to have seen a Beast Orgins over this little sad love story about descrimination, love and loss -- is this a kids cartoon or what? Either way we're breaking it down, making tallies and giving you our thoughts on this weird little episode. ALSO be sure to check out our Marvel Movie News and thoughts on Avengers in our other podcast.

X-Men Origins: Rogue or The Fall of Ms Marvel. Regardless of who's side you take this is one of the most tragic stories of X-Men: The Animated Series so far. I don't see anything else coming close to being this side. Appart from being a demise of a superhero story like the death of Superman or Batman Breaks His Back; A Rogue's Tale is also a super creepy story of possession with Rogue being tormented by hallucinations and voices in her head. Just what Saturday morning cartoons should be about. Listen to us break it down and have the most controversial Tally Time so far. PLUS Marvel Movie News - New Mutants, Dark Phoenix and Deadpool 2

We're back!!! After a few weeks off we return with Time Fugitives Part 2; the 2nd installment of our favourite time travellers Bishop and Cable and we definitely get an epic showdown between the two. The action is relentless, wall to wall thrills and rapid fire story telling. This is one of the fastest episodes to date so listen to us break it down, tally it up and rate this bad boy. PLUS we give you our thoughts on Black Panther and Infinity War in our new segment Marvel Movie News.

Gotta get back time Huey Lewis and The News style. It's Bishop, it's Cable, it's Terminator 2: Judgemen Day and Back To The Future.... well a few references to it anyway. The spiritual follow up to the Days of Future Past episodes whether we think it tops it or not you'll have to tune in and find out. Being that Bishop and Cable are on board is always gonna win a few bonus points with us, especially with Bishop's Harmonica heavy theme music. We got breakdown, tally time with a BRAND NEW name for mailbag and shout outs PLUS a new segment which we'll call Marve Movie News for now; where we chat about all the latest movie news from Deadpool 2 to Black Panther and New Mutants.

Tieves and Tassins, talking cajun talk in this episode of the podcast. X-Ternally Yours or X-Men Origins: Gambit is a really fun episode of X-Men: The Animated Series. We get a snapshot of Gambit's past where he deals with a clingy ex-fiancee, 300 year old gang war between the Thieves and the Assassins and their worship of a strange tithe seeking deity called the external. The lore established here is really quite interesting and it's a shame we didn't get to delve into more, unfortunately we gotta keep getting reminders of the damn Savage Land.
Regardless, we had a ton of fun with this one, diggin' on Pierre and his crazy cool accent. Matter of fact these are the best/funniest accents we've seen in animation. Also another badass opening which turns into a brutal Danger Room session where Cyclops is nearly killed. Very reminicent of the first Robocop for me. Really cool stuff.

We're back for 2018 and we got X-Men Origins: Wolverine or Repo Man depending on your preference. Talk Alpha Flight, the canadian Avengers and Vindicator's broken bromance with Wolverine. Twas interesting revisiting this ep as this was the first of many times where Wolverine's adamantium origins were referenced in the series. We got the usual breakdown, x-quiz and tally time with  RECORD BREAKING Claw Draw. ALSO in light of the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi I kept a short bit about our thoughts about the film. I figure why not? Marvel, X-Men, Star Wars; they're all under the same banner now anyway.
