Generation X-Men

Slave Island PLUS our Dream Cast for an early 90's Live Action Movie - In this episode we cover Slave Island which has a bunch of X-Cameos and introduces fan favouritre and my personal favourite X-Men character CABLE! Big jacked guy with two plasma guns, spitting one liners? YES PLEASE. Slave Island also features the return of The Sentinels and their dad Mastermold. What we teased in the last episode was who we'd cast in an X-Men film if it were made in the early 90's and here we rattle of so unconventional picks of your favourites. We had a ton of fun with this so don't be surprised if we keep on casting our dream x-men movie.

Cold Vengeance - what a title! The first and maybe the best showdown between fan favourites: Wolverine and Sabretooth. Mixed with a bit of Gambit, Jubilee and Storm in Genosha; we're primarliy treated to a solid Wolverine story set in a small fishing village. One of my favourites and the point in the season that really gets the ball rolling on some back to back strong episodes of X-Men: The Animated Series. As usual we got some Breakdown, a RECORD setting Claw Draw in Tally Time and some interesting talking points in the wrap up.
You'll have fun listening to this one, insect! Think I'm lying, ask the snow demon. They can sense the truth in your eyes.

Captive Hearts - Oh boy. This is a fun episode of Generation X-Men for a not-so-fun episode of the animated series. Brooksey and I dive deep underground and tangle with the Morlocks as we try to figure out why this episode about slimy, skanky, filthy, foul, ugly mutants has been so poorly received all these years. Also why didn't the Sentinels exterminate this rag-tag group of uggos instead of targeting all the sexy pretty mutants? Also we add a few Claw Draws to the tally and some brand new X-Gasms in this episode.

Deadly Reunions - Sorry we're late but here's the follow up to Enter Magneto. Sabretooth and the showdown between Professor X and Magneto. Talking tally time, claw draws and Professor X's hypocrisy on personal vendettas and endangering Jubliee by having her baby sit a 300 pound, near 7 foot tall killer mutant.

Enter Magneto - We're introduced to one of the most iconic villains of the series and one of my personal favourites. Brooksey and myself are talking about story/characters progression, animation, sound effects, plenty of magnetism induced destruction, X-Quiz, Claw Draws and an X-Ton more.
Spoiler alert - Prepare for one of favourite new catchphrases: "Suddenly Sabretooth!"

Follow up episode to the big cliffhanger ending of the pilot Night of the Sentinels Part 1. We delve into detail about my favourite villains The Sentinels and more about the X-Men themselves.
