Been mad busy lately with changing jobs and gigs so I hope the latest five hour set made up for the month off the podcast. I haven't forgotten you. I've set out this year to make at least one mix or mashup a week, to keep up my skills. And to also upload them no matter what. This is one I thought was pretty mediocre as I was playing it, but on a subsequent listen not really that bad.

As with the first JMFE, this is mixed on the fly without consideration for genres or any pre-planning whatsoever. It's got a healthy helping of ghetto funk, swing, old school hip-hop, and even some 80s cheese re-edits.

We Funk This Party Out Feat. Grandmaster Flash, Mele Mel & Kurtis Blow (Qdup & AGFA Remix) - Africa Bambaataa

Think (It takes two) feat Lyn Collins - A.Skillz

Sing, Sing, Sing (RSL remix) - Anita O'Day

Still All Good (Jam Hott Edit) - Notorious BIG, Wu-Tang, Basement Freaks

Unfinished Edits Are Out Of My Hands - The Revenge

It's Like That - The Breakbeat Junkie

It Takes Two To Tango (Steve Jones Re Rub) - Pull up Your Jeans

Party Rockin' (Ras Gass Edit) - LMFAO

Relax (Jean Claude Gavri's Laser Beams Re-Edit) - Frankie Goes To Hollywood

Baby Wants to Ride (Exclusive Reedit) [Simpson & Neville Re-Edit feat. Jaimie Principle] - Frankie Knuckles

All Night Funky (The Doors) - Funky Boogie Brothers

Beavis & Butthead - Ilovett!

Give It Up - Cee-Roo

Come As You are (Alkalino Rework) - Little Roy

Eye of the Funky Tiger - DJ Prince

Mash Machine - FAROFF

Samples Yey (Very Unoriginal Mix) - Joshua Casper

Lilac Wine (The Album Leaf remix) - Nina Simone

Obsessed over this bleak, bizarre and amazing TV show lately. Binge-watched the entire thing on a recommendation by my good friend Brady. He emphasised the music. And no shit, the theme, repeated over the series, burrows into your brain.

I immediately wanted it in my sets, so I decided to make a full length dj-friendly remix. Hope you enjoy it as much as you will enjoy watching this show.
