The more I listen to this, the more I appreciate the shared sentiment between various aggressive genres of music.

This was made for TheMashup.org's ROCK'N'MASH compilation album where I am featured along with such mashup legends as DJs From Mars, DJ Morgoth, DJ Schmolli, Fissunix, Colatron, Mashup Germany, LeeDM101, Loo & Placido and many more.

Go for the FREE download at http://www.themashup.org/portal/themashup-org-present-rock-n-mash/, you won't regret it.

Thanks everyone who voted for me by playing/liking/commenting and reposting https://soundcloud.com/dj-competition-entries/generik-ska-makes-me-happy

and contributing to me WINNING the competition. This is what the judges had to say:

"This was a difficult competition to judge due to the professional level of each submission. Although there's only 1 winning slot available, every entrant should be proud of their work and exposure you all received.

So.... Without further a due; Elements and Lemon & Lime would like to proudly announce Erik Veland as this event's winner!!

GenErik submitted a tasty mix of what he likes to call 'Ghetto Funk'.

We feel his eclectic style and mix of tunes will be a perfect way to open and welcome everybody to the event! Make sure to get in early and support our local community of upcoming and established dj's and producers! Catch GenErik opening the event from 3pm! Doors will open at 2.45pm."

I am simultaneously chuffed and shitting my pants. This will be a thrill!

I can now finally release the final version publicly. This version fixes two glaring flaws in my entry and is probably the version you want to download to keep ;)

Again: THANK YOU!

Hailing from West Sussex, DJ Danny C is keeping the rave alive. A veteran radio DJ from Radio Active FM to Code South FM where he plays everything from house to hardstyle. Put your headphones on, draw your blinds, drop some chemicals and rave on to this deeply funky tech house set.

Sadly Shazam is providing us with a tracklist this time, so don't trust it. But then again, since SC made track info irrelevant who is even reading this?

01. Chus & Ceballos - Nobody Freaks Likes Us

02. Shaka Muv - Save Save (Tavo Remix)

03. Tapes - When We Were Young

04. Holgi Star & Piere Deutschman - Bottle of Laid

05. Conflicted Soul - One & Other

06. Paleman - Etch

07. Dusty Kid - Kore

08. Facundo Mohrr - The Leader is Under the Table

09. Reza - Kongo (D.O.N.S. & Rio Dela Duna Remix)
