(Mat 26:6-13) While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, (7) a woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table. (8) When the disciples saw this, they were indignant. “Why this waste?” they asked. (9) “This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.” (10) Aware of this, Jesus said to them, “Why are you bothering this woman? She has done a beautiful thing to me. (11) The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me. (12) When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial. (13) Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

寛大＝親切な行動だけではない：大きく生きる決断

(Proverbs 11:24 MSG) The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.

(箴言 11:24 MSGからの直訳)寛大な人の世界はどんどん大きく広がっていくが、ケチな人の世界はどんどん小さくなっていく。

Attitude shift: From 'it’s all for me (greed)' to 'live to give'

態度の変化：「全部自分のもの（欲）」から「与えるために生きる」

(Luke 12:16-21) And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. (17) He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ (18) “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. (19) And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.” ’ (20) “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ (21) “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

Give More, Save More, Consume Less = Happiness もっと与え、もっと蓄える、消費を減らす＝幸せ
