As Pastor Mark continues his teaching series, he’ll be reminding you that God desires true and genuine worship. Too often people come to church and act like they’re worshiping God, but their heart isn’t really right with the Lord. First, settle your spiritual state with the Lord, and then participate in worship. Jesus Himself said that if you have a problem with a brother, first settle that issue and then come to offer a sacrifice at the altar. Jesus was correcting a wrong view of what worship actually is. God cares about the condition of your heart, and when your heart is right, good fruit will naturally follow.
