In school who was the highest authority? The principal right? And in the United States, the highest authority is the President. But as Pastor Mark shares, the ultimate authority over principals and even a President is God. So, you must always filter your decisions through His word and His commands. The decisions government officials make can have a tremendous impact on your life…good and bad. But God will always have the final authority and will bring judgment on those who do not govern in a way that honors Him. So, keep your eyes on Him and have faith that His will will be done despite those decisions.
