Brett takes a look into the story of Joshua and how God used him against all odds to bring the Israelites across the Jordan, and into the promised land. As we look back into all that God has done for us, He gives us the strength and power to move forward into the unknown. There is a river in front of us that God wants us to cross so that we can fully dwell in his promised abundance and joy.

Most Kings remain unaccessible to everyone save from the social elite. Jesus, the King of Kings, arrived in a different way. Thus entering in a Kingdom that would be different, and accessible to everyone.

We look at two stories surrounding Jesus' birth from the gospel according to Luke where God used some pretty ordinary people to do some impossible things. God wants to similarly do the impossible through us.

The story of Christmas through Joseph's eyes is that of receiving purpose. As we reflect on the incredible miracle and mystery of how Jesus transformed Joseph's heart, we also reflect inward to receive our own purpose through the Christmas story. (*Spoiler alert* Our purpose is often messy).

Jesus' family lineage was anything but clean and tidy. In fact, it was a pretty big mess. We begin our Christmas series with a better understanding of how Jesus entered into our mess in order to save us.
