The last message in our series, A Journey Between Us, is about some good news. The Gospel of Jesus still rings true today just as it did some 2,000 years ago, and it still has the power to transform us. Gospel. Good News. It's what we need.

In our modern day, western culture we equate beauty with perfection. Therefore it is natural for us to try and hide our brokenness from God and from others. Instead we can learn from an age-old Japanese tradition that sees beauty in the broken, just like Jesus sees in us.

Culture and society are set-up for us to fail at remaining steadfast in anything these days, especially when it comes to relationships. But our community is in the business of doing relationships for the long-haul.

Our calling as the Church.

Community is not something that we will naturally lean into, but it takes an incredible amount of intention and effort. The way we will be known as a gospel community is by the way we enact our love towards others.

We are fully known by God, and yet still fully loved despite our brokenness. As we journey to accept that difficult truth, we set out to build a community that seeks to fully know and fully love others.

Jesus dwells with us, so that we can dwell with others. An introduction into the ministry that we are called to; the ministry of being present.
