In today's episode, let's go over a conversation George Lucas had with Lawrence Kasdan about killing Luke so that Yoda could train Leia. They went back and forth on it and it was all documented. George reveals why he doesn't believe in killing main characters in movies, and I have to agree with him on some level for sure. I also believe Rian Johnson's idea of killing characters adds weight to the story, just as Kasdan said, however, if the death is going to be of the main hero for over 40 years, it better be a deserving one.
