In the first draft of Revenge of the Sith, Anakin Skywalker didn’t become Darth Vader after killing Mace Windu. He turned later, inside the Jedi Temple, manipulated into believing the Jedi had betrayed the Republic. In today's video let's explore George Lucas’s early version of the fall, why it made Anakin too passive, and how rewriting it as a conscious choice turned Revenge of the Sith into tragedy instead of accident.
