Do you want to have a faith based business> Tiffani has been my buddy for 13 years. We are Southbay natives and grown-up in the industry together. Her and her sister shot my wedding in 2015. I'm sure you heard of Sun and Sparrow.
https://californiaweddingday.com/real-weddings/carissa-stu-fabulous-affair-where-whimsical-meets-modern-pop
She left her photography biz to go into ministry. Her sister Ellie took over the biz.
I opened up about my faith with God.
What we chat about today:
1. I left my 6 figure business to go into ministry
- It's never too late to go after what God calls you to do.
- Being a Christian having faith in today's world is hard, but it's worth sharing God's story in your life.
- every business can be a mission field. If God is calling you to share your faith, then go after it. People love connecting with your passions and there are tons of people who are interested in sharing your passions.
Bio and words from Tiffani:
My name is Tiffani Matsuura. I was a wedding photographer for 13 years and owned a business with my sister. In 2021, I heard from God that He wanted me to become a missionary. I jumped in and ran after Him! I'm working on what it looks like to be a full-time minister in the city of Los Angeles. At the moment I'm creating a podcast that talks about faith stories and encourages people to deepen their faith and walk with Jesus.

At the end of the day, clients are coming to your site to find information and make a decision. It's your job to make that as easy as possible for them! Tip 2 - Branding - Use visuals that are going to connect with your ideal client. Curate images strategically and use fonts and colors that evoke your ideal client's aesthetic. Today I interviewed my past student Danielle, Colorado wedding photographer.
She went through my 3 month coaching program. After my program, she went on to make 53k in 5 months. She signed up with me because she was getting inconsistent leads. Now she is fully booked and can't keep up with the leads!!!! So proud of her.
Today we talk about branding! She is a fun, colorful wedding photographer serving outgoing, fun-loving couples who love to have wild dance parties!
Danielle is the queen of color!
Words from Danielle: Color is my specialty and I do it very very well without going overboard. Color makes me feel happy, bright and joyful. My goal is for my couples to look back at their images in 10 years and remember exactly what their day looked like and felt like. I want them to see all the pops of color as they once were. I don't want to take out color, make things darker and remove the natural beauty of all the colors incorporated into my couples’ days.
On Friday, I have a bonus episode with Alex. https://www.instagram.com/alexcollierdesign/
She is the one the made Danielle's amazing website Www.indypopphoto.com

I've been hearing about SEO search engine optimization for the last 12 years. Do you really understand it?
If you don't understand it fully, you will want to tune in this episdoe. Most photographers over-complicate SEO (image tagging! Alt text! Blogging!) and focus too much on the tiny details. The bigger picture is more important-- what are your clients searching for, and how can you create the most helpful information on that topic?
Sara Dunn is a Wedding SEO Specialist for wedding photographers other wedding professionals who want their websites to rank higher on Google.
With a knack for making SEO easy to understand, she’s created a unique Wedding SEO Framework that simplifies what it takes to get your wedding business in front of your dream clients.
She was named a WeddingPro educator for 2022 and has presented to audiences including WeddingPro, WIPA, and Wedding MBA.
