Welcome back, acolytes, for another lesson in Bending.

This time, we take a look at the plight of earthbenders in areas controlled by the Fire Nation. This episode draws some uncomfortable parallels to both the Holocaust and the Japanese Interment, so naturally its full of goofy jokes about earthbending lemurs! Hopefully Kevin from Men of the Machine can help us unpack some rather heavy subjects in a tasteful and respectful manner...

We're back at it again this week with Season 1, Episode 5 - The King of Omashu. Helping us sort this out is our special guest: Kevin from Men of the Machine! Is this episode the work of a mad genius, or is it just plain madness? Lets find out together!

This week, we welcome Craig back to the studio to talk about episode 4 of Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Warriors of Kyoshi. In this episode, we start to see the village of the week format, Aang tries desperately to get senpai to notice him, and Sokka learns a lesson about feminism.

Things are really ramping up now! Aang comes to terms with just how much he's lost over 100 years while Sokka comes to terms with how empty his stomach is. Meanwhile, Commander Zhao shows up and we can't stop talking about how much of a mutton-chopped beefcake he is.

We're joined this week by our first guest as we look at Episode 3 - The Southern Air Temple

Our recap continues into the second part of Avatar: The Last Airbender's 2 episode premier. Things get a little more interesting here as the action and the stakes start to ramp up! I'm still sad we never get to see those hopping llamas.
