Interesting book to anybody who wants an idea of how they might look to their audience

This is a pretty neat book and when I took the test I think I agreed with the assessment it gave me. So on that score it does a good job of categorizing - at least me.

I do have the problem with these tests since they assume you're honest with the answers - or at least self-aware enough with your answers. I thought about it later and there were a couple questions I think I answered with wishful thinking, more than reality...but I think I did a good job.

Then it tells you what the 'presentation persona' is like, and gently describes the flaws. I actually wish it was more pointed in the critiques. The personas are described from a positive slant, but I would prefer a guide that told me what the problems were (at least with the theoretical persona) so I could do more about it. There is SOME of that, just not enough.

The book describes other personas, and if you wanted to change identities, there's a roadmap for what to shoot for - so if you want to be a different persona, than behave like it describes.

I think it's a neat book, and it's always interesting to assess ourselves from afar and see what we might look like to an outside audience.

I rarely write negative reviews, but I spent more time trying to clearly understand what the narrator was saying instead of trying to understand the content of the book. His English is good, but his reading is to soft to hear and lacks articulation of the words. Couldnt finish listening to the book.

Perfect for the beginner to Javascript

Good basic information has given me an understanding of Javascript. Well written and easy to follow instructions made it a lot easier than I thought it would be. Its a great book to learn javascript. Basic and impractical

Basic material, presented without supporting evidence. Bonus points for the conciseness, but it makes it dense, which requires a carefully paced delivery. The delivery is way too fast, and doesn't pause between key ideas.

I got some great advice as soon as I started listening. It's a short and easy listen and gets right to the point.The book really gives gread tips and pieces of advice to help boost your confidence and self-esteem when talking to others.

insightful and helpful

As insightful and helpful as a book can get without having someone demonstrate the techniques to you. Thankfully there were a lot of examples so you could easily get a feel for the author's points, which were mostly new and novel to me. i don't think I have a problem with being a doormat but this book still helps with some argument tactics.Really enjoying with useful tips.

I am a professional educator in the arts. and i love this book.

Great book for new writer like myself- brand new at writing.. Straightforward guidance to get you started. I feel that i can achieve about 80 % of my first book using the simple techniques and info.

Sometimes, I can;t hear the narrator well. Just a couple of words. Not sure if it;s my device or the recording.

I highly recommend this to people who are new to writing a book or experienced writers who need more concrete guidance to organize thoughts and create books more effectively.

I hope the author will write another short book on other things not covered here in similar style. Or detail more on the chapter and its sub-chapters.

Informative and brief

This provides some excellent points. My only problem with it is that Rant Radio actually started podcasting back in 1999. Which means they were around long before MTV's Source Code podcast. I understand the author may have wanted to name drop a specific cast or an American one, but his comment on the first podcast was inaccurate. Otherwise this was an excellent primer for would-be internet radio personalities.

Good foundation

The basics are a great start. The marketing info is perhaps getting a little outdated.
