Publisher's Summary:
A Life In Rhyme - Life's Observations is the fourth book in a collection of rhyming story poems I've written over a period of years.
None of them were initially written for book publication, but I have received such encouragement from friends and family about them, I've decided to compile the verses into four different titles.
Book 4 introduces you to story poems I've written about events in my life and random observations, together with some of the rhyming verse included in the other books I've written.
I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoyed writing them.

Rhymes about Life
I have the privilege of knowing this author online and have talked with her and even been interviewed by her. This book brought me into Jean's life. She taught me things I didn't know about poetry or rhyming. She expresses parts of her life in rhyme and explains how she came to it and how you can, too. I enjoyed each of her little 'stories' and often wished they shared even more. This is book 4. I will be looking for the first 3 books.
Enchanting book
A delightful book. Jean has a command of words that she puts into rhyme that captures the essence of her daily life in a captivating manner. She also shares some techniques about poetry writing that may even inspire me to try my hand at poetry.
Another Gem In Literature
I always enjoy reading the author, Jean Shaw, poems. They are catchy, relevant and remind me of the fabric of the earth--family ties and connections with each other. The poems bring a sense of hope and frivolity in challenging family times --you can sense the emotions and undercurrents running arif in Affectionately Yours and I especially like the mini poetry lesson about Haikus and Villanelle forms of poetry.
Definitely a book to keep in your handbag and to dip into when waiting around for the next adventure. Thanks Jean, inspires me to look at my poetry and get them out there as well:)
