A rare solo session from Ed this week as he guides us through the stream of consciousness that usually makes up his inner monologue. But fear not, all you Get Folked devotees. All of the soothing touch stones you know and love are to be found at your fingertips, just sounding 50 percent less sexy.

We’ve got music, we’ve got musings, we’ve got current events, we’ve got life lessons, and we’ve got conclusions reached based on absolutely no insight whatsoever. So, without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Get Folked Podcast.

The newly bestowed "Yuppie" status means that buskers, junkees, chess players, and whores can all now be found rubbing shoulders at Andy's favourite Berlin bridge hang-out. It's all a far cry from the wholesome parties that Ed attends and somehow gets injured at. How can a man with weak ankle joints possibly put his best foot forward?

In the realm of music, Hawkin Twang have an upcoming gig on the 16th of July in Posh Teckel. The only thing more anticipated than the tunes is the promotional poster that Andy is working on. It's gonna be awesome.

Berlin's temperature turns up the heat on Andrew's wardrobe, as his sleeveless vest takes its rightful place at centre stage for this week's episode. When not hypnotized by Andrew's muscular arms, the guys also trundle through some Irish political history, so house-keeping will presumably be busy next week. And Ed shares another happy memory and an example of what not to do when entrusted with the deciding vote at an Annual General Meeting.

It's a real smorgasbord of an episode this week folks as Andy and Ed take us by the hand and guide us through their obsession with the natural world, specifically the yips and yaps of the Coyote and the under-handed fighting tactics of Grizzly bears. Of course this all neatly intertwines with the most recent musical escapades of Hawkin' Twang in the Posh Teckel Bar in Berlin. I don't want to over-sell this, but there have been reports that members of the audience were fleeing the bar in terror because they thought a real coyote had joined the band. *Fact!

In spite of technical issues and far too many swear words Andy and Ed bring you their latest thoughts, hopes, dreams, and recent achievements all set against the musical backdrop of Andy's rendition of "Pretty Polly". It's beautiful.

Of course it wouldn't be The Get Folked Podcast without the guys man-handling some of the biggest questions the universe has to offer. Up for grabs this week: What are the origins of Friday the 13th? How much does ones cultural background inform their enjoyment of a song? If Ed stares on an old couple while they have a shift in a mosh pit and then does something else that annoys the old guy from the mosh pit, how sad is Ed for being in a mosh pit at his age?

So much to get through. You better start listening quick.

Would you rather have the mind of your eight year-old self in the body of your fifty eight year-old self? Or, have the mind of your fifty eight year-old self in the body of your eight year-old self? It is with such questions that the minds of tomorrow are moulded and the minutes of podcast episodes are populated. But beware! The "Would-You-Rather?" world is not for the faint of heart.

Returned after last week's brief and, as yet, mysterious hiatus, Ed joins Andy on the latest Get Folked episode as they bring their opinions and complete lack of research to bear on the subject of men's health and come to the startling conclusion that not all crotch lumps are good lumps.

After this startling revelation some soothing musical exploration is required and Andy introduces us to the lyrics of the song "The Gosport tragedy" later re-written as "Pretty Polly".
