This week in Episode 11 of #GetJasched I'm joined by Sonia McDonald, Leadership Coach, Managing Director and founder of Leadership HQ, international keynote speaker, author, advisor, and Leadership Director, Managing Director and Founder of McDonald Inc, as well as founder of Tea for Teens, a social enterprises helping teenagers, parents, schools, and guardians around mental health.
In our conversation, Sonia shares her perspectives on how kindness plays a big role in leadership and how we do business (as it should!), where people tend to struggle in leadership, or get in their own way, the importance as a leader to have self-awareness and ask questions of those who work for you, and how that cumulative effort shows up to make a difference in the world. She also highlights one of my favourite points - that you don't need the 'title' or qualification in leadership or communication to BE a better leader as you are, or communicator in your own voice.
