Worst "half" book ever. Ends in a cliffhanger and another story starts and it is a cliffhanger also. Don't waste your time.

First time reading anything by this author and I would read more from them. I really enjoyed this short story. It was a good book.

Sexy book highly recommend

Ellie was supposed to go to her ex boyfriend and ex roommate wedding. Since she didn't have a boyfriend she had to do something.

Her friend had told her about an escort service. Ellie sets up the meeting to tells the owner that she needs an escort for a wedding.

But when Ellie is waiting she decides to do some sketches of the photos in the frames. Rebecca comes running back to her office with a man chasing her. They finally realized that Ellie was sitting there

so they both stopped yelling. While Ellie was telling Rebecca what she wanted and that she would like to talk to the escort a couple of times before the wedding.

Lucian tells Rebecca that he was interested in being Ellie's escort.

Ellie and Lucien started to cozy up to each other. They went to the Art Museum because she never had been there and he wanted to be the one to take her. At one point they run into her ex and his fiancé Amanda who was so surprised to see Lucien and Ellie

Lucien had taken Amanda out once on a blind date but, she was so drunk she was flirting with any man so he dumped her into a cab. Ellie was surprised that Amanda dated Lucien and with that she left him there talking with the couple.

Sweet winter delight at the Shore Leave Cafe

Another steamy-and-sweet couple from Abbie Williams! I loved Mathias with his crazy energy and good humor; and Camille came across as totally lovable, young but forced to grow up fast, and dealing with it with grace. Abbie writes more lifelike dialogue than plenty I've seen in bestselling fiction, and as in the previous books in the series, I'm charmed by this whole circle of family and friends. I'd love to hang out with them. (Well, except those snotty girls talking crap about Camille...)

It was a bonus treat to see some tie-ins to Abbie's historical novel Heart of a Dove - the books each make sense without the other, and you can read them separately either before or after one another, but it was really cool to see some of the same characters mentioned!

Old fashioned love story!

This story is a true old fashioned love story. Camille had a relationship with a young man & ended up pregnant. She's dropped out of school to have her baby & in the meantime, becomes obsessed with a man in a photo. While investigating the photo & the history of the mans family, Camille meets his descendant Mathias & developed feelings for him.

This book was difficult for me. I'm not sure if it was that the beginning took a while to get going & seemed to drag or what. I had trouble connecting with the characters & becoming invested in the story. I do feel there are people who will love this story. It just wasn't to my taste for some reason.

I had no idea when I downloaded this book that it was written by two authors that I loved from a previous series. From the opening paragraphs I knew I was going to like this book. I looked to see who the author was and found it to be Tuesday Embers and Mary Twomey. I don't know who does what in their duo writing but hopefully they never stop.

I loved this listen! I swallowed it whole in two days. (I could have done it in one but I wanted to keep the happy going.)

The love story was memorable and sweet. Molly and her unraveler Liam, had a relationship for the ages and the ending was PERFECT!

The narrator, Madeline Mrozek, is the third pillar of success with these two authors having partnered with them in the past. With this listen, Mrozek was called on to be a strong alpha male, a soft and pliable twentysomething female, a gaggle of mean girls, and a ne'er do well brother. She nailed them all. I think I've listened to more Mrozek books than any other narrator and she constantly delivers. Love her!

This listen is pretty special. I can only hope there will be a book two.

Great Audio to an Enjoyable Story!!

Where does With Summer's Songs rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?

This book does rank very high on the list, although I do have books I like better than this - only because of the narrator's accent. But I do think the narrator did an excellent job.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Sean Murphy was my favorite character, because of his kind, loyal, patient, and steadfast character and love for Tara. He was all that you hope the hero of the story to be.

What about Elisabeth Lagelees performance did you like?

The driver Sam at about 1:38 in the book is a really fun interpretation (voice) to listen to! She did absolutely excellent with that character!! Elisabeth's narration is easy to listen to!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The music between the chapters is a wonderful! This is a wonderful story of being healed from an abusive relationship, and finding hope again!

Great read

This is my first read from this Author. Roxie Odell did a great job on this book. It's well written. Derrick and Corrine have great chemistry. I enjoyed both characters. This is a really good story. Thank you, Roxie Odell. Great work :)

Vegas romance

Steamy romance set in Vegas. A one-night stand that wants to be more comes to an abrupt halt when she finds out he's married. The characters have amazing chemistry. We never really get much backstory on Corrine and this relationship she's supposed to be rebounding from, which I think would have really given a lot more to her character.

characters are engaging but the story is patchy, details and dialogue seem to be missing, like it was a rush job

LOVED!!!

I received an Arc Copy for an Honest Review. This book had me hooked from the very beginning. I could not put it down and loved how this storyline played out. Michelle believes in love where her bestfriend Kiera does not. She thinks love is an Idiotic Emotion. Michelle is getting married and Kiera takes Michelle to Vegas for a Bachelorette Party. When they get to the airport they run into Michelle's EX Andrew Taylor. I don't want to give too much away but I will say this when they get to Vegas its starts to not only heat up between Kiera and Andy but had me laughing as well. Will Kiera change her mind about Love? THIS IS A MUST READ!!! I recommend over the age 18 due to content.

What happens in Vegas? A five-star romance, that's what!

Alright, my only complaint about this book is as follows... I need my very own Andrew F***** Taylor, like, yesterday. He's one of the best "book boyfriends" I've read in recent months, a great balance of sexy and sweet, alpha and angst... Perfect.

Kiera, the female lead, is feisty... I got a little frustrated with her at times because she was so determined to hate Andrew even as she can't deny to herself, or to him, the passionate attraction she has for him. I also loved the dynamic between Kiera and her best friend Michelle. The banter and jokes, the love and affection between these two was one of my favorite parts of the story. You could really feel the closeness of these two, how stable the foundation of their friendship was.

I will definitely be rereading this one again in the near future... I miss the characters, the smokin' hot chemistry and angst, the surprises and sexy moments... And of course, Vegas baby!

This is the first book I've read from Sarah King and I was happy to not be disappointed! This wasn't the typical "Alpha male vs. insecure female" kind of romance that I thought it might be as I began to read, for which I was appreciative. There was a spin to the plot that I hadn't seen coming which was refreshing to see! I could've even used more of detailed conclusion to that twist but was so happy it was there! More so than the romance aspect of this story, I really felt the bond between Kiera and Michelle, two best friends who truly go through everything together, for better or for worse.

Sexy Stuff -- New Adult Romance

Somewhere on St. Thomas was a sexy read about a young woman heading off to college from a religious upbringing on a Caribbean island. As a virgin, on her own for the first time in her life, Ruby Michaels is determined to not let her awakening sexuality get in the way of her dream of getting her degree at an East Coast school but soon has three very different men in pursuit of her. One is particularly interesting and mysterious and although he taunts her to the point of it being slightly disturbing, Neal handles the romance and evolution of their equal relationship very well.

This novel is well-written by an author who is extremely successful in police procedurals and now has a budding career in New Adult Romance, Toby Neal. Just a warning though, it's a sexy book with pages of descriptive moments so if you like your novels "Sweet", this won't be one for you.

What a story of true love!

What a sensational love story between two people. The way they meet; their story of coming together as a couple, is beautifully written. Their love sessions amazing, however if you don't like going into detail about such things, then maybe this book isn't for you. I loved Rafe & Ruby's story. I can't wait to read the next book in the story.

Another Strong Series for Toby Neal

I'm a huge fan of Toby Neal's writing and was introduced through the Lei Crime Series. Neal's writing is distinguished by strong plots, well-developed and complex characters, and strong female leads. While the "Somewhere" books are truly sensual romance novels, they are high-quality for that genre because of Neal's strong storytelling abilities.

In this book, Ruby is at a crossroads in her young life, struggling to find her place in the world and struggling with three different relationships. In this story, Neal's strengths in character development shine as she explores how difficult some decisions are - decisions that will impact the rest of young Ruby's life.

Some people might dismiss these books because of the genre, but I urge you to give the series a read, as if you enjoy Toby Neal's Lei Crime Series, you won't be disappointed here.

Like the undulating vast waves ones encounters on the open seas it is with excitement to once again read a Toby Neal novel. From beginning to end you are hooked like a big game fish who can't extract oneself.
