TOBY NEAL'S HOT, NEW ROMANCE MOVES TO THE RHYTHM OF THE DANCE
I loved the energy level of Somewhere in California. A love story, told in the context of a dance competition show, was a brilliant conceit. As Jade Michaels moves from one level of the competition to the next, the story naturally becomes a page turner. Who wouldn't want to know the details of each dance, the descriptions of each of her dance partners and whether or not she "survived" to make it to the next level. Jade is clearly gifted, but she has come to dance later in life than most professionals, and she struggles constantly with the cleansing and counting rituals common to OCD. Toby Neal's descriptions make the dance scenes come alive in the minds eye. Her personal experience with dance is clearly evident.
I thoroughly enjoyed this, the latest in her "Somewhere" series. And I highly recommend it to anyone interested in dance, reality TV competitions or even just a good romance.
    More! More! More!... Puleeze!
Oh, Toby Neal, you are a witchy writer! You are so talented, descriptive, and REAL. I have loved reading the Lei Crime Series', and to discover your romance books, is such a gift. Your "Somewhere" series has mesmerized me, and I'm so happy you're going to carry forward with some of the children of these amazing couples. Otherwise, I could expect to hear a great gnashing of teeth.
You reach such depths into the personalities of these amazing women, I feel I know them, and I miss them, already. Thank you for introducing me to them. XOXO
    Somewhere in California
Wonderful story about Jade, dealing with everyday struggles, first Love, going out on her own and the sometimes complicated issues with family. It also takes place in a time before we all had gadgets, however did we get along? It is so much more than just a romance.
and of course I love New Beginning by Amy Allen the most
I haven't found a Toby Neal book that isn't outstanding! I started with her Lei Crime Series and then read her Somewhere series. I am advancing through the Kindle World books written by her fans/authors, and of course I love New Beginning by Amy Allen the most! Now I'm reading Jet.
This Somewhere in the City book is so good. It certainly won't disappoint you!
    Another great book!
I truly love how Toby gets you consumed in the characters. The writings are so vivid you can see and feel every aspect of the story. The Somewhere journey of the Michaels family is great and I hope to continue on their journey.

She'd promised never to be like her mother. One man stands in the way of that promise.
Renee Winters has the voice and the face of an angel. She's the worship leader at her church, runs the Brides for Christ program for young teenage girls, and is the chaste "bride" modeling the gowns for the bridal shop she works at.
The problem? It's all a lie.
As a child, Renee's alcoholic mother paraded a slew of men in and out their home. Renee vowed she would never turn out like her, but one broken night, she ran from the nightmare of her home and into the arms of handsome bad-boy Ian McKnight. She tries to erase her moment of weakness with years of faithful service. Yet each time she stands before young girls, preaching about the beauty of remaining pure, she is painfully aware of her broken vows.
Then Ian returns - a wounded soldier, a recovering alcoholic, and no stranger to broken vows. Ian knows the truth, and Renee avoids him, unsure if she can trust him - or herself. When the bridal shop hires him to create a website, she realizes she must face the truth. With his camera pointed in her direction, he tries to capture the real Renee, the one behind the veil of lies.
Will Ian tempt Renee to break her promises again, or will he help her understand the true nature of her vows?

God's love and grace lifts the veil of guilt.
Veils and Vows is an engaging romance novel in Reconciled and Redeemed series by Michelle Lynn Brown. Although part of a series, it can easily be read as a stand-alone story. Renee and Ian have been friends since their teenage years, both having struggled with family lives that were far from ideal. Can one night in their past keep them from each other forever? Will Renee be able to keep the vow she made? Can Ian help lift the veils of guilt and fear from his friend's heart? In the light of Christian values, the author realistically deals with some very real and raw issues of human life--alcoholism, promiscuous lifestyle, and premarital sex. Readers can relate well to the characters as they deal with guilt, brokenness, forgiveness, and restoration. I listened to the audiobook version of this book. Leonor A. Woodworth does an excellent job narrating the story and bringing the characters to life, making for an enjoyable listening experience. I received a complimentary copy of this book and was not required to write a review and the opinions are my own.
    Story about regret and redemption
This story is about how redemption can happen even when you do not understand how to be redeemed.
Renee and Ian made a big mistake when they were young. Both had been living with the guilt for years separately until God brings them together to look towards the redemption that only God can give.
This was a good book about how even what some would say is a "big" sin can be redeemed and restoration is possible. Leonor Woodworth was a great narrator.

very good book, I would recommend it, the audio was very good, so was the story line

The past summer has been a wild ride for Joelle Gordon, in more ways than one. After discovering her husband cheating, she fled Chicago for her small-town childhood home in Landon, Minnesota. There, her family's lakeside diner, the Shore Leave Café, remains unchanged.
Yet nothing else in Landon is the same, including her family of women, her three teenaged daughters, Camille, Tish, and Ruthann, and the intense, passionate love she has found with Blythe Tilson. Now Blythe is in trouble and Jackson is back in Landon, rethinking the divorce. Joelle must face one of the most difficult and important decisions of her life - or will the Davis family curse ruin any chances of finding love?
    Members Reviews:
Loved the first book, loved the second book too!
This book is a continuation of Summer at the Shore Leave Cafe. It's almost as awesome as book one but at times the main character Joelle becomes a tad bit immature, like a YA heroine. I reviewed the previous book and loved how it feels so real with Joelle's situation and her emotions and decisions. But, I'm quite disappointed that book alludes to some true soulmate and true love stuff. Then, Joelle's tiresome and constant worries for Blythe was just overdone. Then again, I'm a guy and don't really buy into that idea so yea... But besides two those pet peeves, I enjoyed this book a lot.
AND AGAIN, the book leaves in a cliffhanger but the good news is that the Joelle and Blythe arc has a genuine closure. So what's the cliffhanger? Jillian and Justin...It hints that something malicious happens to them but who knows until book three?
I loved Second Chances..second in a series of three...
The first book, Summer at Shore Leave Cafe was great..A family story, a love story, a Minnesota story...I loved that it was generational, the love stories feel real, and being in Minnesota was such an added bonus..Land of 10,000 Lakes...the book put you right in to the small town Lake shore activities....I loved the book..can't wait for the third ne to come out..Abbie Williams gets to my sou!
    Five Stars
    Love these books
    Five Stars
    Great book
Lovely romantic return to the Shore Leave Cafe...4.5 stars
This story resumes where the last one ended, with Bly Tilson having to return home to Oklahoma and face charges for having violated his parole. Joelle is planning to make the trip to see him before his court date and meet his mother for the first time. Meanwhile, she's leaving behind her pregnant teenaged daughter and a soon to be ex-husband who seems to be having second thoughts.
I love these characters, especially Joelle and Bly's romance. I'm not normally a fan of the older woman/younger man relationship premise but there's a lot here that works. You won't find any of the traditional traps common for this storyline and you quickly forget the age difference. Bly's terribly romantic and sensual and Joelle seems to have overcome all of that angst from the last book and completely focuses on loving her guy.
That's not to say there aren't plenty of issues for them to contend with, most notably Bly's problems in Oklahoma and Joelle's husband, Jackson, rethinking the divorce. It's how the two of them handle these conflicts that deepens their relationship.
The story ends, again, with some things up in the air but not as dramatically as the previous book.

Very very good story! Well written! I listened to this as an audiobook, and as an ARC. Very pleased to be able to report that I truly enjoyed the story. I will definitely read more books by Josie Riviera!!
A heroine to root for & a hero who tells corny jokes
This is my first book by this author, and I am looking forward to reading more. I loved Luciano, Anatasia and Soo-Min. At first I didn't like Eliza, especially when she wouldn't let Anastasia talk to her daughter when she called too late (after being in a hurricane!), but later her attitude changed. There were many good things about Luciano, but my favorite was the corny jokes he told. I love a hero with a great sense of humor! Liz was something else, especially when she said she didn't mind sharing Luciano with Anastasia.
Loved the settings of Charleston and Stowe, Vermont.
    A MUST READ!
This an emotional and clean romance. A very well written story with a great cast of characters. The book will make you stop and think about what is important in life.
My Hubby and I go back and forth all the time saying "I Love You More" and after reading this book it has given it a new meaning.
Read the story today. You will not be sorry. It grabs you from the very beginning and holds it until the very end.
    A Clean Sweet Romance!

    Beautiful and Poignant

    Memorable and heart-warming.
This has become one of my favorite feel-better series!
This story is full of emotions, from the first chapter, until the last. It will make you cry, laugh, dream, fight, hope, inspired, and most definitely, love. This story will definitely stay with you even after the last chapter.
The characters are so unforgettable and their dialogues are so easy and relatable. The pacing of the story is also conveniently fast and easy.
    Great Read
I loved this book. There was so much tragedy but in the end it showed life goes on. Sometimes without those we love but still with many wonderful moments
    Excellent book
Very well told story with believable characters. I couldn't put it down from beginning to end. A must read for sure.
but I just had to express how much I enjoyed this book
I'm not much for leaving comments, but I just had to express how much I enjoyed this book. At first it started out somewhat typical, but then it drew me in. I got the first book because it was free. By the time I finished it. I had to get the rest. I couldn't put it down. Every time I thought I knew which way it was heading, I was surprise at the change. I cried when Vanessa died. That wasn't fair. But we all know its the good ones that always die. Its been a long time since I found a book I thoroughly enjoyed and couldn't stop reading til I finished it. Thank you.
    Need Tissues
How could you make me cry like that through the whole series? I still want more of this one. Keep up the awesome job your doing.. <3

    Great read - strong heroine.
I haven't read a historical romance/drama in a while and thought I would give this book a go. I really enjoyed both the setting and the storyline. The main character was a strong willed young women who was working hard to survive in tough times. It was great to see that as things progress her falling in love didn't absorb the entire storyline or all her internal dialog, like most people she had all sorts going on! Well done on a strong debut novel, fingers crossed for another story with the same family/setting.
    A great Cornish romance
I got totally swept away reading this book - it has a strong plot, very evocative descriptions and wonderful characters. I particularly liked how the author has captured what it must have been like to be a feisty woman with ideas and passion in the 1790s. The romantic setting of Cornwall and the historical context made this a very good read.
    Captivating!
I absolutely loved this book! A wonderful historical novel with great characters and a really great storyline. Cornwall of those times is so eloquently depicted and Rose, the heroine of the story, is magnificent! Fiesty, strong and beautiful, she is a woman ahead of her time. And the ending was just perfect!
    Highly recommended.

This couple not only keeps getting better but damn bring in the s'mores because the sex between this couple is just like the chocolate delectable...
    Happy Reading
    It is a must read..
The only thing I could possibly mark down is that the ending makes you need to get the next book and finally the last book to see how it all ends. There is the cliffhanger of "where is the best friend"... traitor that she is. This is an exciting series about Grace, ex-model, and Tony, billionaire shipping tycoon. I want book 3! I need book 3! The sexual scenes are well written and the storyline is exciting and give adventure. Love it.
    So crazy....
Grace and Tony are drawn to each other...again...but, as usual, her emotions, and his misogynistic, overpowering attitude get in the middle. So many twists and turns, it almost makes you dizzy! Don't want to give any spoilers, so I will stop here. Ready for the next book!
    Greek attitude and a twist
Oh my how I love this couple when his Greek attitude isn't in play. I am so excited for them to have gotten back together. They have such a powerful pull to each other and it is hot to say the least. You could be a detective and not figure out the twist in this story until it pops up, I didn't see it coming at all, but in hind sight it's there. A great 2nd book and anxious to get the 3rd with the ending this left, I don't know wether Tony has went off the deep end or if Grace is in for it (good or bad). Hopefully this doesn't hurt their chances.
    Wow
Oh my!!! I swear I am lost at words with this book. It was amazing. I had a hard time putting it down. I honestly don't think I did.

Conor OâNeill always enjoyed life footloose and fancy free
A middle child of five Irish brothers, Conor OâNeill always enjoyed life footloose and fancy free. Then Conâs mother dies and heâs never felt so lost. With his oldest brother, Con explores new possibilities in Green Valley, California, where his mother grew up. Finding inspiration in the great, wide Pacific, Con opens a surf shop in nearby Timber Cove where he meets the classiest lass heâs ever seen. Madlyn Sanchez is surprised when the Irish surfer seems to take a liking to her. Older than him, a high-strung wedding planner, she couldnât be more different than Conor. But when Madlynâs responsibilities in San Francisco can no longer be ignored, she kisses Con goodbye and wishes him well.
Never one to chase a woman, Conor knows Madlyn is someone special and he goes after her. Madlyn finds it difficult to open up to and trust in Conor. She has never had anyone to trust, even when she was married. Madlyn also believes Conor to be flighty and unable to settle in one place. Conor tries to tell her and show her that he is ready to settle with her. Both are amazing people who are fighting against years of people underestimating them.
Really great book, and a fantastic series. But....it is also a reprint from back in Nov. of 2015.
This is a great book, and it beautifully written. I would encourage everyone to read this series, it's really, really good. But this is also a reprint from Nov. 15, 2015. If I had known that, I wouldn't have bought it again. Author's need to start warning their loyal readers when they do this. Nothing like purchasing the same book twice, thinking it's something new.
    Four Stars
It's not Bedding the Bestfriend but it was a good story.
Free spirit meets stressed single mom
This is the second book in the Home to Green Valley series. While it can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading the series in order. DePaul does not spend a lot time rehashing the plot of the previous book, but you will definitely get a better sense of all of the brothers and the circumstances that have led them to this point in their lives. This book is Conor's story.

    Publisher's Summary:
What do you do when the love that once set you free, feels like it's holding you prisoner?
Sterling and Elizabeth Jackson have built a life most would envy: a beautiful home, two wonderful children and a very comfortable lifestyle. Yet something is tearing them apart. With divorce looming, they are trying to make it through the holiday season for their family.
With clashing schedules, demands from employers and two busy kids, the former lovers have managed to stay out of each other's orbit, at least for a while. But fate, or maybe their well-meaning family, has set them up on a collision course.
Past memories bubble up to the surface and there's nothing to stem the flow. What once was amazing has turned hurtful and full of pain. But is that the real story? Is it too late for a couple who once lived and breathed for each other to find their way back?
There's a thin line between love and hate. Will Sterling and Elizabeth be able to mend a love that seems broken and lost, or will the final pull on the holiday ribbon unwrap their last chance to save their marriage?
