Another Fool's Gold romance

What made the experience of listening to Before We Kiss the most enjoyable?

I like that the narrator is the same for the whole series. It's easier to enjoy listening when I'm used to the voice of someone who has already established themselves as the characters in previous books.

What did you like best about this story?

The outrageous behavior of Sam's mother. Also, I like that Susan Mallery has set the stage for the next book by introducing characters that I know will have their own story soon.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Dellina has dinner with Sam's parents and sees that Sam did not exaggerate his mother's bluntness.

This story was exceptional, as always the author delivers a heartfelt story full of love and all the ups and downs that come with it. Characters you'll love and a town that makes you feel welcome and at home add a small town feel to this book. Humor, romance and some downright sexy characters make this an ideal romance read. Sam and Delinas story is one of misunderstanding and how to find your way back while dealing with family issues ( Lark rocks) and other events from the past and learning to let go and taking a chance on love.

Love me some Friday Night Texas Football!!

What made the experience of listening to All Lined Up the most enjoyable?

The narrators were so much fun! I LOVE the facts that we get a Female and Male, where we can have both POV's instead of having ONLY one of the other! Makes the story stand out!

What other book might you compare All Lined Up to and why?

Compare to in the fact that I really enjoy the authors, Erin McCarthy's TRUE BELIEVERS Series and Christina Lee's BETWEEN BREATHS Series....Both are awesome like Cora

And one of my favorite YA Series, DAIRY QUEEN by Catherine Murdock (The Heroine plays football, but SUCH a fun read)

Also, fans of the TV Show FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS will really enjoy this series!

What about Justis Bolding and Dan Bittner s performance did you like?

They both brought the characters to life for me! In all honesty, I started the book and I guess it just wasn't what I was feeling at the time, so I put the book down and hadn't picked up again. When I got my credit for Oct, I saw this one, and figured listening might show a different side of the story. I not only totally got sucked in right away, but the characters came to life, and so did the story!

The first book in this new adult series is a fun romance that had laugh aloud moments. Light on the requisite angst in new adult romance, I really enjoyed the characters and seeing thier growth. Great narration.

Love the new twist to Cyborgs!

SO.....this one was a good one... I love the twist, instead of Cyborg falling for a human... Nice... I really can't wait for Jean's book... I hope it's next! And the mention of SKY... boy.... I can't wait to get to his book either...

Blackie was not my favorite Cyborg...especially what he try to do to Ice's girl... But all of that gets explained in this book...which only added to my forgiveness of Blackie's misdeeds... And Zorus...boy what a turn around! This was a great addition to my favorite Cyborg books!

Narration was perfect... Kennedy really has taken charge of these book...

Once I got beyond the title---YOWZA!!!

Even one of the worst characters of the Cyborg series so far...Blackie...deserves love. I cringed at his name back in some of the first books of the series where he's introduced, and cringed even more at how he was with women and his overall mean attitude. I couldn't believe he would have a story of his own! I certainly wasn't interested, but, I knew that Laurann Dohner would have to come up with someone really special with the capacity to love even the coldest and cruelest of Cyborgs, and that could only be the love that man's best friend can give you! Eve, a canine/human, meets Blackie as a prisoner before the Cyborgs free themselves, and totally bonds with him. Fast-forward to present day, and the two reconnect, opening a whole new world for Blackie--one that includes humility, decency, emotion, and understanding. It's awesome that even in an erotic romance novel there's a moral to the story!

These Cyborg stories are very much 'on the nose', and that's one of the things I love about the series. The misunderstandings between the characters have me in stitches, and the love scenes have me panting! Blackie and Eve fall head over heels HARD for each other, and although I kind of hated him in some of the previous stories he's appeared in, this book redeems him completely. If you're a fan of fantasy and paranormal erotic romance, the Cyborg series should be in your library for sure. Keep 'em coming Laurann!

This was super cute..and funny funny funny!! Ava is just really trying to find her way in the world...Tyler is a good guy, but weird! Together they work! Ava just wants her mom to accept her and let her do what makes her happy...Liz just wants her daughter to have a future...and Tyler just wants to be with Ava and be accepted for being a Bronie! lol There is all kinds of antics and the whole group is together still and so so so much fun!

Taylor. But they all had me dying. This book was not what I expected. They would say the craziest things when you least expect it

This is a sweet story and it's nice to see Jared and his girlfriend reunite.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator lacks emotion. There are significant events yet the good and dramatic events are all delivered the same. It is also confusing to listen to as you can't tell when different characters are introduced.

Short book so easy to listen to in one sitting.

An enjoyable listen

I didn't enjoy this Nora Roberts as well as some of her other books. I could tell this was an older work, not just from references in the book, (VCR'S and arcades), but her writing wasn't what I've gotten used to. Cassandra Campbell was brilliant, however. I loved her inflections and could tell all the characters apart. I will be looking at others works from this talented narrator. Overall, an enjoyable listen.

Everything - the characters were annoying. The story was ridiculous. And the narrator was painful to listen to.

Yes - I find it's hit or miss with this author. When it's a hit it is a great experience. When it's a miss it's forgettable.

What didnt you like about Cassandra Campbells performance?

She is so breathy, whispery and sing-songy and the inflection at the end of each sentence are annoying. I've listened to many, many audios with her performing and I've yet to like one of them. She is my least favorite performer.

If youre a fan of Kelly Elliotts Wanted Series, then you will absolutely enjoy this new series.Just like all of her other books this one is full of hot steamy scenes as well as many sweet swoon worthy scenes.Broken is the love story of Whitley Reynolds & Layton Morris.Whitley is running from her ex. Short, Hot and Dirty

If your looking for a short hot low plot read this book is a must! I really enjoyed it but I wasn't expecting any major plot when I started it and I got exactly what I was looking for!

Uninspired; Unbelievable; Unlikeable

This erotic story is only for those who require no plausibility with your erotica. For me, the coming together of the h and all of the Hs happened waaayyy too easily. I wouldve preferred some degree of plausibility or explanation for the easiness with which this woman said yes to being with 4 men previously unknown to her and a previously unknown part of the U.S. They all fell into domesticity too easily to even be imagined.

And the immediate, special connection between Rayna and Jamie, one of the 4 males, didnt make any sense either. Soul mates, really?! Really?! Unbelievable. Literally. Similarly, the h, Rayna, told all of her business to these strangers faster than is safe or smart for anybody, which diminished her character. She appeared more diminished, too, when the author, after days of sharing herself with 4 men she recently met, tried to convince the listener/reader that Rayna didnt usually jump into bed easily or often. Yet, she didnt really hesitate to have a ménage with 4 men. It all holds no water.

The author managed to create only a façade of emotional depth and care. It was sad, which was worse than if the author had just explained all of the sex as just a quest to get off. Acting as if it was more, especially in less than 24 hours, and especially when only sex has occurred, no real learning each other, was just sad.

Moreover, the sex-talk was another sad aspect. The author showed no uniqueness or sincerity in this arena. The author also barely acknowledged, and didnt, in any meaningful way, that continuous vaginal intercourse impacts a womans body. Can you say sore, at least? The story just didnt hold together, and the author failed to maintain continuity in the characters actions and views.

If you read the past two book read this one! If you find yourself angry during this don't worry I was too! But don't worry it gets good and it's really worth it.:)

Very Deep, Emotional and a bit too drawn out...

I love A.L. Jacksons books. Some of them go so deep into emotional description which a lot of times is just way to much.

This book is one of them.

I wish the descriptions of their feelings for each other, the way she sleeps, the way she breathes, the sun rising, the waves, etc. werent so long and descriptive.

There was a lot of eye rolling.

Elizabeth and Christian struggle again as they get back together for the 2nd and 3rd time.

The way it was written is a very back and forth with time and I dont mind that, but this was annoying. You dont find out why they break up in this book until half way through.

When you do find out, what follows is hard to listen too.

Just not my favorite A. L. Jackson Book.

I would have been happy at stopping at Book Two in this series.

I felt as if I had run 20 miles in a sweat suit by the end of the book.

This book was exhausting. So many ups and downs. So much upset, love and sadness. I adored the romance series of Elizabeth and Christian. The story telling was amazing. They were so much in love how could they have any problems? Nothing worthwhile is easy. I would recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a challenge.

Not in Love

I really wish the author had cut the junk out of this book and added it to the end of book 3. I felt like the majority of the book was filler and I was completely bored. The only reason I kept going was a need to finish the series. I still feel Sofia Willingham was the perfect narrator.

Fifty shades of grey fans MUST READ!!!!!

Must read for the Fifty Shades girl. Loved the series start to finish. New J. Kenner fan in the house!!!!!!!!!

I believe this made a nice ending to Nikki and Dameon's story. I only wish there was more to come.
