Reminds me of Linda Howard

The suspends and humor are reminiscent of early Linda Howard novels. I enjoy it immensely and hope to listen to more by this author

Cliche

I listened to the whole thing, I'll give it that.

It wasn't horrible just very cliche. Nerdy girl doesn't realize how amazingly hot she is until her sorta trashy but really cool friend lets her rummage through her closet and forces her to go out in something that's cut above her ankles.

Hottest guy in town only has eyes for her even when she's still dressing nerdy.

She ends up changing everything about her life, even allowing him to dress her. But of course her giving up her career goals that she'd wanted her entire life was her decision because of course it was really what she'd wanted all along.

It bothered me that someone who is supposedly so smart and terrified of men makes the kind of mistakes that she does. I did like the parts with the shot gun and the baseball bat.

I could have done without the 30 minute it gets better speech. Really. I've never fast forwarded through a book before but I just couldn't take it. I get the point but the entire thing could have been summed up in one paragraph not an entire chapter.

Fantastic new to me author! Loved it!

This was a great listen ~ not only was the narration TOP notch, but the story was excellent...lots of romance, but enough suspense to keep me guessing all the way through. Likeable characters who totally sucked you into the story...I hope, HOPE there's more out there for me to discover!! I bought this one on a whim, for narration alone, and loved the story! I'm hooked!

PHIL GIGANTE'S SEXY VOICE GIVES ME SHIVERS

What an all round great listen..... there's the chilling mystery and suspense of the sub plot, the beautiful sexy romance between Cal and Zoe who are both very likeable fun characters and they have such great chemistry and rapport. Then there's the teamwork of two awesome narrators who each stuck to their own gender's words making the book flow like a conversation. Finally, you get 11 hours of an entertaining and enjoyable listen for under $8 - so no need to use a credit therefore there's absolutely no dilemma here.....

Great story

As always another great story. Highly recommend for anyone who likes romantic suspense. Now to start the next one.

Chased - fantastic book

Great novella that Cristin writes again. Jeffrey Kafer is amazing narrator bringing the characters to life! Jenny and Asher are lifelong friends who realize they are meant to be together, but Asher isn't aware that her brother in law is the fierce Jared from Titan. Whole new ball game when that is found out and Jenny needs protection!

Different Than The Rest

Completely different than the other stories, only connected by secondary characters. Though an important thing happens at the end that impacts a future book. This is another short story but still packed with suspense and sexy time. The entire Titan series is overloaded with testosterone and alpha male hotness.

What did you love best about Chased: A Novella?

The story was ok. It being a novella it was hard to get invested in the characters or their story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I didn't really have a favorite character. The story was ok just didn't get as excited for this story as the other Titan stories.

What does Jeffrey Kafer bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

I love the sound of Jeffrey's voice as the Titan Heros in all of Christin's Titan Books. Nobody else could do this voice but Jeffrey!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Toward the end of the book when the bad guy was caught, was glad to find out what was going on. Although a man mad because of losing his house was a bit extreme as a plot.

Any additional comments?

I love Christin Harber's Titan books. Absolutely, love listening to Jeffrey as the characters. However, this one is my least favorite from the series.

Not as good as the others but...

While this story isn't as good as the others it was still a decent read. I'm not exactly pleased with this being last book and how things were wrapped up still kind of seems like it needed more but it wasn't ok read

Enjoyable & appropriate ending to a 5 star series!

This was a bittersweet listen for me. I have so enjoyed this series ... and hated to listen to the last installment. Samantha Young does not disappoint! Elle Newlines of course is perfect for this narration as she has been since the first book. This conclusion continues in the love angst lovers finding their HEA. It also gives a satisfying update on all the past couplings in the series. It was an appropriate, feel good ending to a heart felt series I throughly enjoyed. I cannot wait to see what lies ahead in future writings of Ms. Young. Credit worthy!!!

Dublin Street Series Continues On Nightingale-LOVE

I absolutely love this series, it has to be one of my favorite top three of all time. I just love it!

It took me a little while to figure out how Logan was related to the rest of the Dublin Street crew, but I got there eventually.

Logan was in jail for two years, but now he has a good job, apartment and ladies galore. He is having a great time! Making up for lost time.

Grace has always been manipulated by family, so she makes her way, on her own to a new city. Everything is just about perfect for her she is only lacking the perfect man.

In Samantha Young style, Grace & Logan happen to have flats in the same building, on the same floor! You may think you know where the story goes from here, but I can assure you you don't.

Another five-star book and story for Samantha Young

Elle Newlands gives a five-star performance. Her sexy Irish accent is charming and maneuvers through the whole cast of characters (except Joss, as she is American.) Perfect 'voices' from the small children of two and three years old to the main cast of characters and their parents. She easily flows from male to female characters, as well.

Good Easy Going Romance

Loved the story! Good narrator! Good way to spend an afternoon! It's best description is basic.

Good book not blah blah type romance book

This is the first of this authors books I've listen too. I enjoyed the book found my self laughing at times. Then I consider it a great book. Everyone is so serious in the romance series theses days. After spending 15 years working in. ICU you learn to laugh.

MY EARS MY EARS......NARRATOR RUINED A GOOD STORY

I love a MC biker story and the Summary of the book had me intrigued and the actual story was quite good...... with the typical Club House antics, sex, drama, angst, secrets and a host of likeable biker characters. But what totally ruined the whole thing was the AUSTRALIAN narrator whose accent was harsh on the ears and even the romantic tender moments didn't, IMO, come across well. I know the Author is Australian but there was no mention of place names and so this would have been a much much better listen if it had been an American narrator.

I would also of preferred it to have been a dual POV listen but sadly it was just from the heroines.

Worth a credit? Nope, not unless they re-record it as it became painful to listen to her and her voice eventually gave me a headache.

Don't know why but this story just gets to me!! I've read a few biker books and it's not as graphics as others but the love story and the way it's told!! I enjoy hearing it over and over

Dane and Lacy struggle to survive - excellent book

This series just gets better and better! Sea of Love is the story of Dane Braden and Lacy Snow who met at a wedding. They have not seen each other for 15 months but over time have developed a phone, text, and Skype relationship. When they finally see each other they become intimately involved. But Lacy has a secret that will challenge their relationship and their future. BJ Harrisons voice is melodious and riveting. I love how he reads patriarch Hal Braden. He also read with emotion that touched me during scenes regarding Danes friendship with coworker Rob. This was an excellent audiobook.

Penelope is an amazing author. the stories that she writes are unbelievable. I loved this book, actually a love this series. must read.

Great series

I really enjoyed this series. I think the author probably could have done a little Better on this book. She saved the excitement for the end and it felt a bit hurried and unfinished to me, but worth the credit .

My favorite of the series!!

This book was amazing! I love this series so much, the author really draws you in and makes you feel connected to each character in it and the world they live in. I actually read the series first and liked it so much I decided to get the audiobooks and wow, the voices were spot on! they did a great job bringing the perfect amount of emotion and life to the characters! I laughed out loud several times and teared up too. Amazing.

Another pleasant surprise

Every time I think I can't be anymore invested in this series, I listen to the next book and I'm sucked in even more. This time around, it was Jax and KC that sucked me in. I love the tension that Penelope Douglas creates between the love interests in all of the series. It seems that they go from angst and tension to passionate love.

Jax is Jared's younger less moody brother who lives in his old house. KC is Tate's best friend. They both have tumultuous pasts that still continue to rule how they live. But eventually KC... now Juliet finds herself. She was a bit winy at times but I liked that her character grew with the experience. Jax on the other hand seems a little more vulnerable that earlier presented. While he doesn't miss a thing, he wasn't exactly as untouchable as everyone though. Overall, I thought that once they got on the same page, their chemistry was great.

who knew?!?!?!?!

I knew from Bully that Jaxson Trent has had a rough life. We read/heard some of the traumatic things but we all knew it didn't even scratch the surface. But boy does that feel like an understatement!

But never in my wildest dreams did I imagine the horror the was behind closed doors at K.C.'S house. Holy Sh!t! Talk about a mind f@ck!

Two broken people wishing their lives were better but never dreaming they could be. A little magic, some court appointed community service, and some hidden attitude are just enough spark to start the forest fire that becomes Jaxson and Juliette.

Slow Start - Active Middle - Cliffhanger Ending

Huh?

The listener/reader is thrown right into the middle of Amy a.k.a. Lara's life. She has been told that she needs to leave New York and never come back. She has a handler she's never met but that she somehow understands a 'sign' for her new destination, Colorado. She meets Liam Stone (on the plane) a stunningly handsome man. She tries to resist, but is completely drawn in by him.

Lara/Amy she has horrible nightmares that Liam seems to be able to pacify. Once the flight lands in Colorado, Liam takes charge of Amy. She looks for the telltale 'signs' to indicate he works with her father but there's nothing there.

Hopeless and alone she easily falls into Liam, they have sex almost immediately. However they know nothing about one another.

In typical Lisa Renee Jones writing, we are left with a huge cliffhanger. I will probably end up putting the rest of the books on my Wish List so I can have the entire series.

The narration was good. Though I don't think she made Liam Stone, an alpha male sound whiny, Liam Stone.The female characters were very believable and I did not need to rewind to find which woman was speaking.

Element of suspense..

Unexpected twist and turns. Stimulating to the senses. Mildly erotic.. worth the credit even if we have to wait for the next release. Unfortunately it's a cliffhanger.

Simone finally is able to find her future and her backbone,but it takes the efforts of the whole clan to make it happen

This is a sequel to the the PHENOM novel, Wait For Me and the story is unbelievably wonderful too! I must admit though that Wait For Me does set a precedence for all romance novels and should be made into a movie. The drama, suspense and HOT Chemistry that our couples experience is a Block Buster in the making. The sinister world domination group in this novel left me a bit daunted though and it took the passion and loyalty of the whole family, Kendrick too, to bring this couple their future together.

This could be a stand alone, but I strongly suggest that you read Wait For Me first so that the background of the family, kids, parents too all makes more sense for you to be able to enjoy this novel and the complex relationships.

I fell in love with the first book in the series, Wait For Me (Iâve read that particular one multiple times), and I couldnât WAIT for Hold on to Me to come out!! I was far from disappointed! I absolutely love the way Elisabeth Naughton is able to capture her readers, and hold them hostage until the book is finished!

This book follows Simone and Mitch; both were secondary characters in Wait For Me and that is where they met and fell in love. This is one of those books were everything is going great, and then all hell breaks loose! I literally couldnât put this book down once I started reading it! It was sweet and sincere one moment and then full of angst, action, and suspense in the next.

I really enjoy all of Mrs. Naughtonâs books and this was no exception. I do recommend reading Wait For Me (the first book in the series) first, just so you are familiar with the backstory/dynamics between some of the characters.

What a journey!

I liked book 1 better. But this story certainly had a tremendous amount of angst and mystery. And true love does prevail-- love how much Mitch loves Simone's daughter and wants to be a family.

Could have been much better

The book kept my interest - but it could have been so much better. It had a great story line and so much promise - but the dialog and thought processes of the main characters was so repetitive it made them seem almost pathetic. Maybe the author felt she had to make the book longer - but it just seems like there were so many other ways she could have done that. This being said, I have to admit that I was entertained and will most certainly read the next book in the series. Hopefully by that time, she'll have found a way to move the story along without the need to repeat the same dialog or emotions every other page.

There Were Possibilities

Yes, there were possibilities for this book, unfortunately I guess I'll never know. I only made it to chapter 14 before I gave it up and decided my time could be better spent. There were some huge holes in the whole approaching Roxy, Rain, Autumn scenario. The biggest disappointment in this book for me was the supposed protagonist. Brody came off as a self centered, immature, almost pathologically jealous and controlling little boy caring only for himself and his own agenda it's difficult to like a book when you don't like the principal character. My advice is to save your credit.
