Great Banter and chemistry

The Space Between is the second book about the Boston Walsh family and their architecture firm. I enjoyed the big family dynamics and love the glimpses of each family member's life that runs through these books.

The story focuses on Patrick the "OptimusPrime" of the Walsh family. He has been unable to keep an assistant or apprentice without running them off. Things change with Andy's interview where she is ready for everything he throws at her.

"I couldnt help it; lame responses kept spewing out while my brain fixated on that voice. If aged whiskey had a sound, it would be Andys voice, all heady and rich, with a slow burn as it went down."

With immediate chemistry, fun banter and texts Andy tries to resist a forbidden romance with her boss and all of the messy complications that can and will entail.

I can't wait to dive into the next story and reconnect with my new favorite Boston family.

Good addition!

This was a great addition to the series. The performance is superb!!! The story was well-written.

Enjoyed it

I tend to go for the strong silent types and that's what drew me to Patrick in the first book and this story. I liked that the female love interest wasn't a blonde which is so common but a mixed race person. The only thing is that it was the exact same narrators from the first book. I wished they would have mixed it up.

This was my first time from this author, really love this series going to my third audio book, love the narrators, Christian Fox and Lucy Rivers are my favorites, I always look books with them as narrators I will give them 5 stars

I am truly struggling with this series. The narrator's Voice just grates on my nerves. In all honesty if I hadn't already purchase the whole series I would have stopped at book one.

TWO BEAUTIFUL SOULS THAT COULD FIT PERFECTLY... BUT

As I listen to more and more books in this Montgomery Ink series the more I become deeply ensnared and invested to see all the siblings get their HEA's.... however, this one is about Griffin the hot Professor type Writer of the family. He's handsome, tattooed and is a slob at the moment because he's suffering badly with Writer's Block - he's tried helping at Montgomery Inc. Construction but there was an 'incident' with a saw and there's nothing he can do at Montgomery Ink because he's just not talented that way. So he's let himself, and his house, go.... his loving Sisters intervene and there's only one solution - hire someone... and they've got the perfect person in mind - their good friend Autumn.

What about the narratorss performance did you like?

Shane East is the perfect Hardin. I remember when I first listened his voice in After We Collidedhe didnt sound like a 21 year old guy but then I got used to his voice. I loved his narrations in the next installments of the series and ended up relating his voice and British accent to Hardin and only Hardin. I loved that he was back for this audio. Shane knew how to translate Hardins emotions, when he was angry, anxious, insecure and of course, when he was turned on by Tessa. My favorite parts were how he changed Hardins voice when he was comparing Tessa to Elizabeth from the book Pride and Prejudice. The short appearances of Jason Carpenter and Grace Grant in this audio were great. Jason did a great performance with Landon, Smith, and Zed. The change of inflexion for each character was remarkable.

People tend to say that retelling stories from the male POV are boring and a waste of time. I ASSURE YOU, BEFORE IS NOTHING LIKE THAT!

Before Is Hardins Heart!

Before is the book that was missing to make this series perfect. I loved it from beginning to end and despite my hesitation to suffer all the #Hessa drama all over again, it has made me want to re-read all the books one more time, because their love/hate/love story is simply amazing.

Before has 3 parts: Before, During and After. Its not just a retelling of book one, like many people was thinkingme included, it shows the missing parts of the previous books, the truth behind Zed, Molly and Stephs actions, what happens with Christian & Co and Landon after all the dramaOK not everything about Landon, but at least theres a hint of what will happen in his book *grinning like an idiot* And of course, the most important thing about this book: HARDIN! His feelings, his emotions, his intentions. Everything. I loved reading his POV in books #2, #3 and #4, but seriously, reading his ASSHOLE SIDE IN FULL FORCE was the best! I always enjoy reading how a man changes out of love, especially if its from his POV, so I was very happy reading this book.

I really liked that this book wasnt a repetition of After. The events that are featured in this book are just the right ones to show how really Hardin was feeling about Tessa before and after they met. I loved the introductions in each chapter. For me they were excerpts from the book Hardin wrote when he became an author. And of course, I love love love the latest chapters, the #Hessa ones. My heart was beating faster and my eyes were tearing while I was reading/listening more about their HEA.

This book just drags and drags on and on with nothing interesting happening. I cant even finish it. If you want a much better stepbrother story try Stepbrother Dearest.

a little too twisted for me

I'm not getting the story line for this book. Just a whole bunch of BDSM. It's not the fact that he's a stepbrother but everything else around it. Just not my type of reading. I couldn't even finish it.

Great Story

Loved the story but, the narrator was not good for this book. And, could have used dual pov.

What is with the music?

I don't know who decided to put music every time a new chapter but it is very annoying. And the narrator keeps using the word hysterionics but I think she means hysterics. Otherwise the story is interesting and the narrator is OK.

Susan Mallory writes very good stories, I only wish she didn't go into such detail in her sex scenes. Leaving a little bit to the imagination is always a nice thing.

GREAT ADDITION TO THE DUBLIN STREET SERIES!

After what I consider a slow start, this book became very hot and very good!!! Although I was not a fan of the male narrator, the female narrator was superb. The passion sparked between Rain and Craig is epic. I've adored all of the characters introduced from this series, with each having a unique set of circumstances that draw you in and make you root for their HEA despite the odds. Bravo Samantha Young!

Couldn't stop listening! Amazing!!

Samantha Young is one of my favorite authors. She write stories that are believeable and show a wide range of emotions. She writes the most delicious amazing love stories ever. This novella was just as amazing as her other books in the series. Although it was much shorter than her other books it still felt complete and the romance was very well developed. The story was different, interesting and one I will listen again and again.

Narrators: Elle Nederhorst is a repeat narrator in this series and she has done an amazing job each time. Her Scotish accent is perfect and she adds so much emotion to the stories. I've actually never listened to an audiobooks with two narrators (dual POV) and it was a very pleasant experience. I normally do not like male narrators and avoid books narrated by men but Kieron Murray was excellent!!! I actually looked for more books narrated by him and there were none. I hope he continues to narrate stories cause I'll be looking forward to listening to him again. This is a MUST listen! Don't think about it and get this book.

On Dublin Street Series Continues on One Kings Way

Samantha Young has written over 30 books, however, the on Dublin Street series is the only one that I enjoy as an adult contemporary romance. The others seem to feel juvenile or are PNR (magic, vampire, changelings, sci-fi, etc.) that don't appeal to me.

One Kings Way is a fantastic addition to the series. I love listening to these books in order each time a new book comes out, I was unable to do that at this time. However, it can be listened to as a standalone one just may not be able to appreciate the peppering of characters from previous books in the series.

Love, Jealousy, Greed, Malice, Revenge &Redemption

This isn't your typical dark Russian mafia romance novel -- wait a minute, is there such a thing? If there is, this is a good one! Kisa and Luca developed a strong connection as infants and nothing could break the connection their souls have to each other. This is a very graphic and gritty story of what these two endured before they could fight to be together. Life in the mafia is the harsh reality that Kisa and Luca were born into and even at the top they have to struggle to survive because someone else always want what you have.

I really liked the narration, it sounded like someone is very fluent in Russian. I listened without interruption (at least as much as I could) because I was so enthralled with the story.

Absolutely worth the credit. Even though the series is very dark, I am going to listen to the other books in the series.

Raze - Damaged Souls, Twisted Love, Dark Revenge!

Another heartwretching story by Tillie Cole that's dark, raw, brutal, and beautiful at the same time. Cole knows how to deliver a plot that will suck you in, take you on an emotional roller coaster ride, and keep you on the edge of your seat! But when it's all said and done, you'll remember these characters and their story.

Betrayed and taken from his home, Raze (818) has been brainwashed, tortured, and forced to fight to the death each time he enters the ring. Trapped in this prison, he loses his memories but vows to seek revenge on the one who betrayed him, and condemned him to this way of life. Nick/Cam Nick/Cam Swooners!!

I didn't think I could like anyone as much as Cam he stole my heart from the very beginning of this series and just won't give it back. But I got to tell you Nick is right in there trying to take it from Mr. Cam.

First got to give Steph huge props for totally putting Nick in his place. I totally fist pumped the air.

Her standing up for her self was hot, and I am a girl. Just saying then him vaulting over the bar, Swoon.

Not only does she stand up to Nick but to Rick the douche to good for her. Glad she isn't a weak gal makes her more believable to me.

Awe can we just take a min with Loki please that was Awesome!

It was refreshing to read a book where he wanted the baby right from the get go. Yes it was a shock but on some level its nice to see that he didn't out and out ask her if it was his or put the blame on her.

And the couch scene... Total Swooning! He was so attentive I loved that esp with everything else going on his life. The guy has a lot going on.

The mommy board gosh I got a good giggle out of that.

And then when everything goes down I can totally see why she pushed him away. But I wanted to yell at her at the same time and be like he will stick with you, hello he loves you.

Totally love how Katy laid it out for her and that's when Steph finally accepts it that was hard and I had tears let alone when she woke up and yeah you get the drift.

"There is a you and a me." God this got me big time.

And can we just take another moment for the ending I mean really!! I was totally a guest the creepy one stalking all the hot guy brigade. Just saying.

Also it has to be said Sophie Eastlake makes all the books she narrates come to life so Thank you.

My Favorite in the Series

I have loved listening to all of the Wait For You books, and this is my favorite...or is it just that it's been awhile since I heard the previous ones?

I enjoyed all of the characters and grew to love them more and more, especially Nick. I totally loved the way Sophie Eastlake brought them all to life.

Gus Mended My Broken Heart

Yep the masses were right, this book helped mend my heart after Bright Side. I'll admit I was a little upset that we were only getting Gus's story and not Keller's but after about an hour into this audio I was so glad it was Gus. I loved the friendship he had with Kate and how it showed the softer side of the rocker bad ass. This story gives us a lot more of his softer side. It was sweet and comforting. I needed to know that everyone was finding their way after book 1. There is no major drama and it was mostly full of happiness.

I think Alex Kydd, the male narrator made this book even better for me. He was EXACTLY what Gus sounded like it my head. He has that lazy, laid back sexy voice and he did an amazing job on all the emotions that Gus dealt with in the book, from the chuckles to the sadness, I could hear the smile in his voice and the sorrow too.

Gus... Oh Gus.

There are truly no words to describe how beautiful this story is. This book will stay in your heart forever. I truly loved every minute of Gus. Life doesn't always go as planned and heartache does exist. Reading the journey of Gus finding peace and love was truly inspirational. This book makes you reflect and appreciate life. Always live life to the fullest. Tomorrow is promised to no one.

The audible narration by Lidia Dornet and Alex Kydd is ONE of the BEST audios I've ever heard. Alex Kydd was all things Gus and brought him to life in my ears.

Stories like this is why I love to read

This was the perfect book at the perfect moment that I needed to listen to it. We are all have our up and down days, I've had that going on for the last two months and this book was the perfect balm.

Gus. What an amazing guy. I felt his sorrow and despair right through to my bones. His devastation upset me. He is struggling to deal with the loss of his best friend, whom he loved with everything he is. I was pulled into his sorrow with him.

Then Scout came into his life. I love who he became when he was around her. Their relationship grew very slowly into this cute, sweet friendship and eventually into an all consuming beautiful love.

There is so much of Kate in this story in that you can feel/see how much her being in Gus' life has influenced who he is and how he overcomes adversity. How he sees the world now with 'Bright Side' glasses on.

This story was heart warming and beautiful. I cried, laughed and felt overwhelming happiness.
