Sawyer, Sawyer, Sawyer!

We fell in love with loyal, loud mouth, inappropriate, playboy Sawyer, but in this book we meet sweet, sensitive boyfriend Sawyer and we love him even more. but the good thing about is that boyfriend Sawyer is still so very inappropriate and at the very best moments. I love that Emmett is so perfect for Sawyer and has found the a way to harness all that energy that Sawyer exudes. This is another installment of "the crew" and my favorite in the series.

The narrators were very good and kept me interested. I look forward to them narrating other books.

Absolutely worth the credit.

I listen to books at work and I was asked repeatedly what was sooooo funny! I listen to books all the time and this was the first time co workers heard me bust out laughing. want a good Laugh this ones for you.

sweetest darn book

I have definitely enjoyed this series, but Entice is by far my favorite. Sawyer is the definition of swoon worthy by the end, and the standard by which all book boyfriends should be set. ;)

Both narrators did a lovely job, but I had ONE major issue. while they all live in Georgia, Sawyer is from Connecticut with Dane, so he should NOT have a good ole southern boy accent. I happen to be a southern girl, so I don't mind hearing it, but it's not true to the character.

Loved Sawyer!!

Loved Sawyer's sense of humor! Kept rewinding sections to replay parts. The things that come out of his mouth...priceless! Love the series and am happy to follow "the crew" but will most likely listen to Entice again.

London Falling, by Audrey Carlan I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could!

This is the 2nd book in Audrey Carlan's Falling series. It has a hot yummy Englishman lawyer, and a beautiful interior designer/life coach! Collier the lawyer meets London on the sidewalk, and boy do sparks fly! He nicknames her Beauty, and calls her that throughout the book, which I thought was really sexy. What woman wouldn't want to hear a sexy Englishman with that yummy British accent to call her Beauty? It would be so romantic! These two were both unlucky in love the first time,is their luck about to change? I'm not telling you'll have to buy the book to find out! The characters in Angel Falling (1st book in series) make an appearance in this book, and the fun continues! I loved the interaction between London and Collier, and all the emotion they had for each other, their connection was amazing! Audrey has sold over 2,000 books in less than a year of her first book being published! The numbers don't lie, this girl can write some amazingly sexy pantie melting books! I dare you pick up one of her books and try it, you will as hooked as I am! This book right now is only .99 pennies, and is a steal at that price!

I love these Brits! They say hilarious things! Well, Bob's your uncle! Tahahaha! I crack up every time! Such a wonderful story! Audrey has such a versatile writing talent. She can make you feel as though you are part of the story. You feel the passion of lovers and the rage of villains. She really is a phenomenal writer!

Excellent Read

I love every word Audrey Carlan writes! The way the characters intertwine from one book to the next leaves you feeling like you've gained a large group of friends in the end. Usually after finishing a book, for days, I think about what could've been next for them. With Audrey's Falling series and Calendar Girls series you find out how "your friends" are doing. I get excited, while reading any of her books, for what will be revealed of the characters in the next, or to found out what's happening with characters from the last book. Great job! I love your work. If the sex senses were taken out, you would have scripts written perfectly for Hallmark channel! I love the dialects, the variety of of backgrounds, the sincerity of love that must go into writing as if these people were being documented in real life, and the English accents of Collier, Emma, and Nate was delightful.

Hello unconventional love story!!!

I really liked this narrator. I'd been in a funk where I was not liking many narrators. But this one brought the characters to life!

This book is a 5 star re listen any day any time. I finished it in 1 day!

WHAT A GREAT STORY.. & PERFECTLY NARRATED TOO

We all know that there are a lot of these types of storylines floating around... an arranged marriage of convenience with an end date which turns into the real thing - and they're usually quite predictable, easy-going, light and fun. And so was this listen... but there was so much more depth to the story which was expertly narrated by Sasha Dunbrooke who brought to life the cold-hearted sexy handsome Playboy Billionaire Reese who'd been hurt and devastated before so vowed he was never going to let a woman hurt him again.... until he got to know Merina. Sasha also breathed life into the strong-willed, feisty, independent and beautiful Merina as she fought for what she wanted.... which slowly changed from bricks and mortar to flesh and blood. Reese thought his only destiny was to become CEO but it turned out to be an empty lonely and cold place without love and without Merina.

An addictive can't stop listening to it story that started out being between rivals and enemies... but over shared time and kisses for the Share Holders and tabloids, slowly developed into the real thing. There were times when Reese forgot his promise and let the impenetrable walls around his heart fall for a time but unfortunately he was his own worst enemy because he just couldn't get past his past... and up went those walls again. Merina was unsuspecting and unaware of Reese's past... but slowly the secrets of his past were revealed and rather than run she clung on to the hope that somehow she would conquer his demons and have it all.... but unfortunately it wasn't going to be that easy.

A really entertaining listen, great banter, humor, passion, seismic chemistry and toe curling sex... however it wasn't without some heartache and pain. This was a good story, but I'm sure what notched it up a degree was the awesome narration. Dual POV's and of course there's a wonderful HEA eventually waiting for us romantics to sigh over.

Worth a credit? I love bad boy Billionaires and the strong women who infiltrate their lofty indulgent lives and tame them so I was expecting to enjoy an entertaining four star listen....

I couldnt get past the narrator

Im sorry, but this story is ruined by the narrator. It was like listening to my grandmother talk dirty or try to sound like a 20 year old.

Falling in love

Great beginning to a series. Very romantic with a beautiful man who is a professional fighter and a singer in a band.

Hooked me!

This audiobook is really a long prologue to this series and you will understand the books that follow much better by listening to it. Warning: it ends with a HUGE cliffhanger, so buy the next book right away or it will drive you crazy! The narration was excellent. I recommend this series as I've already listened to the first three of five books and they're dark but addictive.

Listening to gritty is different to reading it

Im going to keep this review fairly short. I know Ive said that before, but this time, I mean it.

To start off, I have to say that Nashoda Rose is definitely becoming one of my favourite authors. Her style of writing, depth and character development really appeals to me. I havent read a book from this series in a while and I was worried that I would struggle to remember what was going on. That worry was put to rest pretty quickly. What I thought Id struggle with, came back relatively quickly. The characters are hard to forget. The pain theyve survived and the happiness they found or are working towards makes it easy to pick up and follow along.

Now, to be honest, I think I made a mistake. I should have read this story instead of listening to it. Its hard to explain. The story is great and the audio is great but I think that some of the overwhelming feelings I normally get when reading myself, was missing. Sure, I still squirmed, giggled, gasped and shuddered but I think if Id read it, it would have been even more of an experience.

I actually bought this in audio form because Im a huge fan of Stella Bloom as a narrator. She does a great job again. Now, Kas Vadim, he does a great job toobut, I think I struggle with a guy doing a girls voice. I know that seems mean, sexist and judgemental, but a female dropping her voice to do the male comes through better (for me) than vice verse.

Now, story-wiseoh boy, oh boy, oh boy. You really have to toughen up for this one. I found listening to a scene with graphic violence, especially the one in this book, had me physically reacting. Yep, on the trainAGAIN. I swear my fellow passengers must think there is something wrong with me. My body jumped, my face scrunched up and I even said (out loud) Ewww. Just a wee bit embarrassing.

Shattered By You is not an easy story to enjoy. The pain, abuse and suffering that was experienced by Haven is not something youd wish on your worst enemy. The fact that it happened when she was really young makes it even more horrific. Luckily, waiting on the other side is Crisis. He holds the glue and sticky tape to help her put herself back together.

Bad boy meets good girl and wow

This book is an erotic romance novel. Love Bella Jewel and can really connect the perfect characters.

Mercedes grew up in a protected type of life. When her and her friend win tickets to see a band and go back stage, this was a chance of a life time she could not pass up. But even a dream of meeting her favorite band in person could not get any better but when Diesel brushes her off she grows a spine and gives him a tongue lashing, then her turns the tables and kisses her, her first kiss by a man she thought she would never see again. Beautiful story

This is a book of starting over and opening your heart and mind to a new life one that you would never imagined

POSSIBLY GOOD STORY WITH WORK

Had I not read the next in her series, I would have bet DBF had lost her touch for good. As a southern senior, I was insulted by the main character, Miriam (Mellie). This is not 1939 with the south fighting back against Eleanor Roosevelt. Who is this backward bigott? Ugh!

Great Escape

I loved this book! Elin Hilderbrand and This author, Dorothea Bentonville Frank, routinely hit it out of the ballpark with their writing. When I need a good road trip book, one that will make me glad I have to be in a car, driving hundreds of miles, I turn to them. This book took me through hundreds of miles of west Texas dry land and I loved it. The best part was watching and experiencing Miriam grow as a human being. I had a huge distaste for her at the start, as we are meant to. But I grew to like her and then to love her..... savoring her life's victories with her. I think some authors, like Hilderbrand and Frank, have the ability to not just tell a story but make your life better after reading it. Miriam...Mellie's story is no exception.

Only now, safe at home again, I just out down all the ingredients to make tomato pie. Grin!!

Perfect comedic writing with outstanding narration. I love this combo of Kristan Higgins and Xe Sands. Thanks for bringing her older novels to audio. They are a joy!!!

I really got sick of Lucy who just would not let her dead husband go. The book drug on forever waiting on her to see that she had a chance for true love again. I just got sick of it. I truly liked Ethan, who was in love with Lucy. He was a great character. I did not like Lucy. She was a weak person and just not likable in general, in my opinion.

Beautiful Story!

When you combine Xe Sand and Kristan Higgins, is like the best of both worlds. Love how she make every character come to live with every detail, and how Xe portrait every voice. I laughed hard, cry, and got mad with some characters. I felt like I was there with them. I fell in love with my lovely widows, they were so funny and Ethan, awwww Ethan. oh well no more, I don't want to spoil the book. Enjoy it.

Without sadness we can't appreciate happiness

Like all of Kristan Higgins books, this book is filled with entertaining characters, witty banter and lead characters that you come to care about quickly.

And like all of Kristan Higgins books, the main characters struggle with an underlying layer of sadness in their hearts. What is slightly discouraging about this title is that the characters struggle with the sadness for the whole story, keeping a tug in my chest for the entire 10-hour playing time.

The sadness is a necessary part of these characters' personal journeys, but this book may be harder to listen to than most Kristan Higgins' novels because each was resigned to the idea that their sadness was going to be part of their lives forever.

I do recommend this book, but maybe not if you are in a sad place yourself. Set it aside for a time when you can enjoy a a good tug on your heart strings.

It had it's moments

As a rule, I rarely like novellas; they're too short. This one was just over five hours, and overall, I enjoyed the story. I even woke my husband by laughing out loud at a baby vomit moment. (Likely, only a parent would find it amusing ) I think the story could have easily been made into a novel and would have been better but, It was an enjoyable listen.

Another great book by Lexi Blake. Good characters and storyline. I would recommend this book to my friends.

Perfect Read

I liked both Ashley and Keith and how they got together. I was a little confused at the mystery part. I loved Ashley and Keith together. I really liked Corinna and how she treated Ashley. I wonder if there will be a sequel to this. I would like to see how Ashley and Keith are together as a married couple. I would also love to see Keith with Ashley's daughter Emily. I also wonder if there will be a book about Corinna and Derrick I think that would be interesting.

Clunker

I love the Masters series, but this was a disappointing clinker. I've been spoiled by the other books in this series. It wasn't worth a credit or the cash price. I'm still looking forward to the next one but think I'll skip the novellas.
