Even Better than the First!

I didn't think it was possible, but this second Eternity Springs novel is even better than the first! Emily March does an outstanding job of breathing life into characters of deep emotion while infusing them witha fair amount of humor and heat. Colt Rafferty has got to be one of the yummyiest male leads that's ever resulted from putting pen to paper! And while Sage does lean a little heavily on the stubborn side, her reasons are by no means shallow. Add to this a host of exceptional secondary characters, and you have a story that is too good to put down! Once again, Kathe Mazur does a stellar job at narraton.

If you haven't already done so, listen to Angel's Rest first. Then take a dip in Hummingbird Lake. You will not be disappointed!

Disliked the main character intensely. Her reluctance to recieve treatment reflected badly on her medical background.

The performance by Sandra Burr was fantastic. Story again kept my attention. I listen to her stories repeatedly even though I've heard them before, they're that good.

Cedar Cove Series

I have listened to all the Cedar Cove Series so far and loved them all. I can't wait for the next one #10. They are all interesting and fun to listen to. Hopefully the next one will be out soon. Thanks for all the good listening.

What did you love best about 92 Pacific Boulevard?

That Troy and Faith (highschool 'first loves') after the death of Sandy and that his daughter Megan had become friends with Faith without Troy even knowing.

What was one of the most memorable moments of 92 Pacific Boulevard?

The most memorable moment were the break-in's to Faith's residence. Especially the destruction of her family photo's. That would really feel like a vendetta to destroy whoever she holds dear - violation of her privacy

Have you listened to any of Sandra Burrs other performances before? How does this one compare?

I enjoy Sandra Burr's narration - she does an excellent job!

I am reading Debbie Macomber's Cedar Cove Series in sequential order - other than 'Christmas in Cedar Cove' I read ahead of all others. I am looking forward to 1022 Evergreen!

Is it just me?

Is it just me or is the Cove series getting kind of predictable and boring? There's a lot of updating on characters in this book, which, if you follow the series, is really unnecessary. Also, do people really get upset and assume people they're involved with think something totally different than they do and screw up relationships on assumptions? That's kind of the theme of this book.. Assume you know what the other person is thinking and break it off with them.

Loved It!

I almost didn't buy this book because of the previous review. I listened to it completely in one session. Couldn't put it down! I thought it was a great story and didn't have any slow parts that make you want to fast forward. I would encourage anyone that likes romantic fiction to read this book.

Heartwaring love story, I could not put it down!!!

This one is very sweet and heartwarming. Gracie has known Jason since she was a young girl and loved him from a distance. Jason has loved Gracie also from a distance and now that they are adults they finally find the gift of love, once they overcome being step siblings (no blood relation). I was seriously wondering how the author was going to pull this story off without making it seem taboo. She established that very quickly and I could relax and enjoy the story. Jason is very sweet and helps Gracie overcome some dreadful things from her childhood. I loved the little twists in this story. Like most of the Diana Palmer books I have purchased in the past, the romance is Hot, Hot, and Hot and really flows with the story. In general I really do like the narrator (Phil G) and he does I great job with the majority of the voices. I just prefer him doing only male voices, but honestly his voice is not detract from the story at all. After about 15 to 20 minutes did not focus on him reading as a female and just thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love Diana Palmer books. I have listened to this one twice, maybe more.

Romance, Adventure, and Mystery

I always enjoy Diana Palmer's books and this was no exception. The love story between Gracie and Jason is a roller-coaster of adventure, betrayal, and mystery that occasionally suspends reality; but isn't that why we call it fiction?

Phil Gigante is a wonderful narrator.

Heartless....hmmm...Brainless might be better. I like a sweet love story as much as the next person and I love a happy ending. The key here is "Story", not a long misunderstanding and silly kidnappings. I guess I like a story that's interesting, touching, exciting and gets from point A to point B quickly enough to keep me interested. This story had none of those traits.

Loved it

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I downloaded the audio by mistake I wanted the book, as I love reading, but really enjoyed the audio book especially while driving. I would recommend this book to everyone, especially if you have read the first one.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Back on Blossom Street?

Catching up with all the characters, new and old. Love the series so far.

I thought this was very average. I wouldn't order another Blossom Street novel...

Great book!

I have had this book for a long time and I finally listened to it because I was looking for a book that was lighthearted and one that didn't have killing or murder in it. This book fit the bill nicely, as do all of Debbie Macomber's books. I liked the narrator and she put good voices to the characters. The voices didn't sound fake or unrealistic like so many narrators do. I will have to find the next book in the series because I want to find out if Lydia and Brad get their baby adopted or not and how Collette and Christian get along as well as Alex and Jordan. You won't be disappointed if you use your credit to buy this book. It has knitting and floral shops and just a little bit of intrigue. Just enough to make it interesting but not so much as to make you sick to your stomach because it is so raw with real life history and murder.

Very Gentle Listen

This was very enjoyable. It makes me want to pick up knitting again! If you want a gentle read that is not intense listen to this. I look forward to the others in the series.

Why You Should Download This Audiobook: True story. I once saw a little old lady sitting on the floor at Borders, in the romance section. She had pulled every Nora Roberts book off the shelf and was looking at each with intensity. She had just finished three over the past few weeks and enjoyed them so muchshe was telling this to a much younger woman who accosted herthat she was looking for another. The young woman's recommendation? This one. With its pleasant, homey quality, and subtle humor, this early gem from the prolific Ms. Roberts left a good enough first impression on us that it qualifies as an iPod jump-starter.

Annoying narrator

The narrator actually does a good job with the non-dialogue parts of the story, but her voices for the characters are horrible! The main female character's voice is high pitched and fast and doesn't sound the way any normal person talks, and listening to it made me cringe. The voice for the main male character is flat and unemotional, probably because the narrator was working so hard to speak in a manly low tone, which sounded almost physically painful for her to do. It would have been much better if she didn't even attempt different voices, and just read the whole thing in a normal voice.

Glad it was short ...

I listen to a lot of Debbie's books and like her. When I'm paying for books, I go for at least 8 hrs, preferably more. I thought this new 'Romance' addition would be a good opportunity to listen to some of the shorter ones. I'll have to say that i was GLAD this one was short. Most of it was arguments ... and the reader did a great job of making them SOUND like arguments! Not a fun listen for me ... Your tastes may differ. ;)

Typical Macomber....Promises fulfilled

Every Debbie Macomber Book contains enough detail so you know every character and to enjoy every moment of past, present, and upcoming romances, marriages and lives. If you enjoyed Promise, TX as much as I did, this book brings it all together.

Not my favorite storyline. The writing was good.

I enjoyed the first book in the series and now I decided to get book two on audio. I was unable to put the book down until I finished the last page. I would recommend this Johnson series to family and friends.

Mechanical Voice

The narration was so strange, robotic sounding and cold, I almost couldnt get through it.

Beautifully written

I loved the whole story, it felt so real and I couldn't help but feel like I was a part in the story. Wow I have had dreams of what it must feel like to love and be by someone with that intensity ..

Ms. Diamond you put me in Seattle through your vivid description. No rain and good coffee. This is my second book in the Johnson Family collection. I enjoyed the first reading Unfogettable, this one took it to another level. I started listening again, honestly this is the third time. I can't wait to read the remaining books in the collection.

Damn it!

Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! It was so good, and then she came and ruined it!!! Not even two of my favorite narrators could save it. Actually, the three stars are mostly for them, they did a great job, as usual. The rest? Well the story was sooooo sweet and sexy, until it wasnt. Doesnt matter that it has its HEA, the way the climax developed ruined for me. I hate heroines that start powerful and confident and end up being whiny idiots.

Enjoyed new to me narrators

I really enjoyed the narration work done by Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon. Both narrators did a great job with the characters and their emotions.

Arm Candy was candy for the ears while I worked. I'm already a fan of author Jessica Lemmon now I will look for more narration work by these two.

My Thoughts on Arm Candy

Loved it! This was such a cute, and steamy, and just awesome story. I loved both main characters and the narration was perfection. It was a quick listen, but hit all the important romance notes and I would recommend contemporary romance fans check this one out asap.

Sweet, funny, and love the characters!

Of the two books that I listened to by Jessica Lemmon, this is my favorite. Grace and Davis totally piqued my interest with their introductions in Eye Candy. They did not disappoint. I love their banter, their chemistry, and their overall characters, even the frustrating sides of Grace. I really liked that role reversal there. Most books have the guys with the issues. It was refreshing that it was the girl this time around.

The narrators totally rocked the narration.

Emotional read!

This is my first book by this author and I absolutely loved it!! Such an emotional read that will have you feeling all of the feels!! At times my heart broke for what these characters went through! I loved Kellie's and Lenora's story and I can't wait to read about Chance and Brie!! I will definitely be reading more by this author!

Kelley and Lenora will melt your heart.

Terri E. Laine never disappoints. This is a wonderful story of second chance love. Follow Kelley Moore and Lenora Wells from high school to college has they fall in love, are ripped apart and then find each other again. This is one to listen to again and again.

Great Book

I loved this book. The instant connection between Kelly and Len was perfect. I loved their banter, and devotion. Even after years of seperation, they still found their way back to each other. I loved it!

This is my first book experience with Terri Laine and it won't be my last!

This story is the first in a series of 2 so far. Kelly comes from a home of violence. His father, an alcoholic and abuser makes his life miserable and his mother is dying from MS. A boy from the opposite side of the tracks meets Lenny, a girl trapped in the confines of appearances forced upon by her parents.

This story has it all honestly. Heartbreak, action, mystery, and a happily ever after too. I really fell in love with Kelly and Lenny and their story. I'm hoping the author will revisit this couple as I felt like I just didn't get enough of them.

The voice of Kelly on the audiobook was great but I didn't particularly care for the female narrator that was chosen.
