But the golden girdle can only be recovered through honest means, so becoming invisible and snatching it simply won't work. Plus, Hale's job is to protect mortals. No, there's little chance of evading interaction and every chance of falling in love.

Every hero has a different quest, and the more time Hale spends protecting her, the clearer it becomes that Tracy is a goddess worth devotion, no matter what she's wearing.

Over too quickly

I have had so much fun reading this series and was saddened when I finished them, Id love to read more. Only book 2, 3, and 4 are available here at Audilble and Im hoping they will release the first when it comes out in audio.

This is not set like the series Im used to that follows the story in consecutive books of one character, these have followed a group of super heroes with certain ones being the star in each book while still keeping in touch with the familiar characters. I really like this very much, no matter which book you start with you dont feel as if you've missed anything previously. Each book can stand alone for a well rounded read.

These all kept me interested and entertained. I enjoyed the characters, adventures and love stories of each.

To make them any better would be to add more of Julie Kenner on Audible. Im also a fan of her Demon Hunting Soccer Mom.

Great read.

Enjoyable Read

This book is a romantic fantasy done well. In the beginning I got a bit irritated with the author's redundancy pertaining to the hero's indecisiveness, and there was a twist at the ending I found a bit unnecessary, which is why I rated 4 stars rather than 5. These are little things, however, and should not put a reader off this book. The sex scenes are steamy, the action is intense, and the plot progresses quickly. The hero and heroine's characters are likeable.

This is an adult read, and I wouldn't recommend it for younger teens. Aside from the fact that it probably wouldn't interest them, the sex and some language is graphic.

The reader does a very good job with the material, keeping the action flowing seamlessly and doing accents effortlessly. Overall, very well done.

A Little Too Long

Would you consider the audio edition of Her Dark Knight to be better than the print version?

I loved the story but sometimes I just wanted to skip all the self-doubt thoughts and get on with the story!

What did you like best about this story?

The historical periods and the juxtaposition with modern times.

What does Helen Stern bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

I've heard better.

Well Done!!

I am hoping to get to hear more written by Sharon Cullen. Even though the theme of this book is fantasy, the author wrote it in such a way to keep ones interest throughout the book. The story line was believable. All about this book is well done including the narration.

Worst audio book ever

Horrible narration - horrible production. Totally improbable storyline. Terrible dialogue. I really don't get all the positive reviews. Just can't finish it - and I really tried.

Beautiful Story

This was a very enchanting story. Romance, heartbreak, tragedy, redemption, recompense, resurrection. It has it all. A well written and very well narrated audio. I will definitely look for more titles by this author and more works from this narrator.

Very good!

Easy listening

Dark Vow is a story that is easy to listen too. It's written well and Savannah Richards narration of the story made it enjoyable.

A story of a young woman who works in a man's world of gun smithing, seeking revenge for her husband dead, she uncovers her marriage wasn't what she thought it was. Shona Husk writes an interesting story that is easy to listen too.

Mixture of Medieval and Futuristic

This is a very unique story. This is my second story by this author and I received this through the romance package. However, I have to say I really liked the story and want to see where the story will continue. This is not a really serious smut story and other than a small blip of a sex scene at about seven hours and forty-five minutes into the story that was it.

General Tao, a Tassagon, returns from years in the Hinterlands battling the Gorr, a Human dog like creature that can charm a person who looks directly in the eyes. Upon returning he meets Elsabeth, who is a Kurel. You see the results of racial conflict between the Tassagon and Kurel after centuries. Tao is the brother-in-law to King Xim who has a weak character and is extremely jealous of Tao. Tao is 28 and a war hero and ready for retirement, whereas; Xim is a few years younger and has been the king for 4 or 5 years. The character issues were exacerbated by bad influences from an angry Colonel Beck who wanted what wasn't his to have. Thus Xim betrays Tao and try to have him killed.

This story has a great world building that keeps you hooked. You can image the difference in what is common beliefs and medical practices in the 21st century vs. beliefs and medical practices in the 16th century and older. Think the Salem witch trials and the black plague. one half of a town lives in an older century and the other half lives in the current century. makes for a very interesting story.

The narrator was fantastic. I loved her voice. It was smooth and engrossing, and great job on the different accents, and you don't realize its just one person reading the story. She did a fantastic job in the different male and female voices.

Very different and imaginative and inviting to read. I really hated to put it down and will be actually purchasing it when i get my next credit. I personally found it worth a credit.

Don't Insult Me

Would you try another book from Susan Grant and/or Elizabeth Jasicki?

Maybe, as I have enjoyed her books in the past but this was disappointing, boring, and not what I expect from this author. I will bw careful of my next purchase from this author.

Has The Last Warrior turned you off from other books in this genre?

Absolutely Not! I love this genre and have enjoyed this author in paperback in the past. This was my first real loser from her.

What three words best describe Elizabeth Jasickis performance?

Can't overcome bad story!

What character would you cut from The Last Warrior?

The book....

Any additional comments?

What else can I say? This is one of my returns from disappointment.

They face danger - blood ravens, cannibals, mechanical spyders - but Danner never anticipated that the bigger risk would be from Miranda and the things she makes him feel. A journeyman's life doesn't lend itself to commitment, but if they can rescue the princess and make it out of the Plains without getting zapped or eaten, Danner might have to make an exception for one amazing woman. If she'll have him.

False Advertisement

Our Hero Danner makes a deal with the beautiful Miranda. He will take her across the Damned Plains for use of her body at night. She agrees, most eagerly, BUT, Danner has principles and he never takes advantage of this arrangement.

She is 20 years old, beautiful and a virgin. When she loses her virginity it is explosive fantastic sex, she is very talented at sex even though she has never done it before. She can't wait to get on her knees and swallow. After she has, used her hands, so to speak, lost her virginity and swallowed she of course is very anxious for back door pleasure. When she is losing her virginity (both sides) she yells harder!!! and more!!!

I thought the fantasy story would be good at first, you have half gods, gods, steampunk spiders and a couple of others. The magic of course comes in handy at the right time. One minute Danner does not know how to use magic and the next she is wielding it like an old pro.

I will say the sex scenes are good, there is a plot and the narrator is good, thus three stars.

Hot sex replaces good story

If I wanted audio sex I would have purchased something advertised as such. I am hungry for a good tale. I gave up after the first hour.

Scary but Delicious!

Any additional comments?

I must admit that this book scared me a little bit, no spoilers don't worry. But it was passionate and steamy and with the right amount of action. It's a shame this is the only book of hers on here - AUDIBLE YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES! I'm now reading another of her books called The Perfect Mix under her English name "Charity Pineiro" and it's very different to this one and I'm loving it too!

I want her books on Audible so I can get through them quicker, believe me she's worth it.

I think that Tiffany Cole did a really good job of the narration and carried off both male and female characters equally well.

I would listen to it again but maybe not by myself, lol

i liked it

if you want steamy love scenes then this is for you, the plot is ok...kind of predictable but overall a good quick hot and steamy read.

The worst Narrator ever

Any additional comments?

This book was totally ruined by a very bad Narrator. Hard to know what the story is really like as Rachel Butera's voice is so bland and stagnant. No change for each character so that made it very hard to stay connected with the story. I did not finish this book. It was Horrible.

This was Awesome!

I don't know why I kept this in my library unread/un-listened to for so long! What was I thinking... Man! This was sooo good. I just listen to another Eleri Stone book "Demon Crossing"(review coming soon by the way), and I was blow away on how great it was. I realized I had another Eleri Stone book already in my library, so I finally listened and guess what, I just bought book 2 and 3! This was great. The female lead was breathtakingly amazing. When I say she was a strong female lead, I mean she was a strong female lead; in fact she was the champion of the Jaguar clan.

I loved how she got married to the "Mutant" and the end, was just awesome. I really can't believe I let this book sit in my library for so long... WOW! Soooo good. The smex... Man O Man, so hot... The first smex scene by the mirror... I think I am still blushing a little. Then when the male lead, made his wife say she wanted him, DUDE! I was like... OMG!! OMG!!! This book was simply great. I can't wait to sink into book 2 and 3!

It is hard to get a 5 from me, and guess what, this got a 5!

A great credit or buy. I think the price is so low now, I would save my credit and just buy... but if you use a credit, it won't be wasted!

VERY HOT STORY

What made the experience of listening to Mercy the most enjoyable?

I loved the twist and turns of Mercy.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Mercy?

the king having sex with the queen in the tunnels very steamy.

Which character as performed by Rachel Butera was your favorite?

The two main characters, but all of the characters were performed nicely. I enjoyed this short story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I liked this book.
