Wow, what a waste of time. Total garbage y'all. Not only is it written badly, it's missing chunks mid-sentence, features ridiculous terminology, odd phraseology, and basically sounds like it was once translated to Chinese, then back to English via google translate.

It starts with the title. "How to get *noticed*?during an interview"?? Is that for invisible candidates? who doesn't get noticed during an interview? I'd type up other examples but I've already wasted an hour of mu time.

Yes, I will definately recommend this audiobook to a friend because it allows the listener to see not only the importance of communication skills, but also to determine the structure or the technique for building those skills. The author brilliantly leads the listener to a strategy how to generate ideas for improving various types of communication skills by allowing the listener to look through her vision and own experience. In this way, we can acknowledge the crucial importance of mastering the good communication skills for effectiveness in every field the business world or your personal life.

What other book might you compare Breaching Communication Barriers to and why?

M. Berry is suggesting a strategy of how the gender may influence communication effectiveness and how women may manage this environment of male dominance or culture differences. To gain power and success in male-dominated fields, some women have adopted communication means to behave and talk...like many men do, according to George F. Simons and Deborah Weissman, authors of Men and Women: Partners at Work. Therefore, M. Boomy Tokan has assembled several inspiring stories that anyone considering starting a business should read. It highlights the divine way in which many ideas or life events are used as a reason to start a business. Each story provides value in a unique way but all will encourage confidence to take a chance. All events in life are opportunities. The challenge is often from which perspective we are currently viewing the event, and whether or not we can capitalize on the opportunity. This book gives wonderful examples of people who were able to shift their perspectives and capitalize. The book is well formatted, easy to read, and I definitely recommend it.

Down to earth inspiration

This was a great read and is highly recommended to anybody and everybody that has a job, is looking for one, or is thinking about starting a business. The stories of every day people and how they overcame their obstacles and created success for themselves, many times from near rock-bottom, was very raw and down to earth to hear about.

There were also a lot of great quotes and learning lessons in this book that I found useful and believe they will help guide how I go about certain facets of my business, listening to my creative inner self, making decisions and taking action.

Two particular statements that really got me were "failures have created all of my successes" and "misfortune creates opportunities." Both profound, yet very insightful...

I also like the free book that you can sign up for and get, which I did.

Inspirational

With so much doom and gloom in the news, it's refreshing to see so many inspiring stories of people who forged ahead in spite of the challenges in which so many of us find ourselves. Each story is intriguing and offers keen insight in the mindset of many of today's entrepreneurs. If there's one thing to take away from this book, it's that every obstacle is an opportunity, it all just depends what you do with the chances that are presented to you. Definitely a good read for those who are looking for motivation or are considering starting their own gig.

The turnaround

A bunch of interview style anecdotes about people who have started a business on their own. I think the concept of starting and creating something as big and unique as your own business is quite interesting, so I decided to pick this book up. In fact just the concept of major change in someone's life is very interesting to study.
