Mystery

You have to love a read that gives you a little bit of mystery in the midst of all the hot sex. Selena does a great job with this one. Kudos!

Very enjoyable short story with a nice little twist at the end. Terrific weekend or beach book.

Rose is left all alone after an unexpected turn of events that happened to her parents. The last person she ever thought she would see again comes back into her life when she needs him the most her stepbrother, Sean. Now that he's back, he will take care of her and everything they will need to survive. They decide to head out on a road trip to get away from all the bad things that has happened in the town they grew up in. While on this road trip lines that had been drawn will be crossed. Once the lines have been crossed there is not going back. Will they be the same? Will they survive it?

This book was okay. I was not to fond of this book. I was a little confused when I started reading it. But as it went on I kind of figured out what was going on towards the end of the book. The sex scenes was hot and steamy. The sheets were about to be on flames. This book was not one of my favorites. So I kind of recommend this book.

Sean and Rose

Sean was in the special forces training. Sean ends up taking Rose on a road trip. Rose has always admired Sean's body. Rose was in list with her brother. I loved the storyline. I enjoyed reading this story. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Great story from beginning to end. I wonât give away the end, because that wouldnât be fair. But it was hot, romantic, sweet, the whole story had a kind of dreamy feel, and then youâre like, wait â what? What did I just read? Loved the twist!

SEEING CLEARLY THROUGH THE EYES OF LOVE

I loved this story and was so engrossed in the plot and the characters. Now and then, you read a book that you become enraptured into the storyline and the characters, and that is exactly what BJ Wane did with this book. What an amazing beginning to a series, I canât wait for more of the Virginia Bluebloods. I read over 800 books in a year, and so far this year, this one ranks at the very top of my reading list as best book read. It is a book that keeps your attention from page one to the end.

This story is so many things; a fling turned to an affair, an adventure in living in spite of a handicap, and an underlying mystery and suspense. Learning who really are your friends and who is the wolf in sheepâs clothing? What a great cast of characters, I loved Nate and Eve together, how he opened up a new world to Eve with experiences, his friendship with his best childhood friends, and how they all played together. The plot kept me captivated and questioning some peopleâs motives, and the various plot twists kept me in constant suspense. The dialog between different characters showed the clashes in personalities and friendships, sometimes heartwarming and other times sinister. As the story evolves, and little things are said, you see how evil someone can be, and you are on the edge of your seat, and the pages keep turning. In the end, with truths revealed, eyes are wide open to what matters the most.

Exciting Sex

It is the anniversary of the death of a loved one for both Eve and Nate. They are both in the habit of arranging to have no strings attached sex with an anonymous stranger each year on that date. This is how they meet. When it becomes apparent that Eve is blind, Mate is intrigued. Connor nicknames her Florence, for the infamous Syndrome of the same name, because he couldnt stop himself from falling in love with her. The attentive sponge baths really arent helping his situation either.

Nurse Tania Sparks is the true name of Connors Nightingale. She grows quite fond of of her soldier in return, but denies herself further pursuits. Putting the moves on her patient is unprofessional in her eyes. Tania regrets that decision, but has no way of contacting Connor now that he has been discharged from the hospital.

Connors brothers buy him a Kidnap Fantasy for Christmas in hopes of lifting his spirits after the hell he has lived through. The questionnaire ends up being mostly about his biggest desire, Nurse Sparks. Connor doesnt think he can have the real thing, so he wants to spend his holidays with as close as he can get.

From there it just gets HOTTER!

Both the hero and the heroine get exactly what they want for Christmas despite being oh so naughty!

And I loved every minute of it.

Dirty Promotion???

What did you like best about Dirty Promotion? What did you like least?

I was not a fan of the storyline eventhough it did have a HEA. My problem had to do with Christiana being "very religious" but yet willing to through it all out the window at the first threat of losing her job. I understand she needs money but not all women should be willing to sleep her way to money. Xander supposedly loved her too but was all too willing to be cruel to her the whole time too and force her to do things he knew she wasn't okay with. I am a fan of BDSM (and very dark erotic/romances) books but this one's storyline rubbed me the wrong way.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narration was good and the pace of the story was good. I have no complaints on the narration at all.

I didn't know sexual harassment could be hot?

I never knew reading a story about sexual harassment could be so hot. there are differently some good sex sconces in this book. and some great humiliation thrown in. ( in a good way)

The story was not bad or anything, but i will admit I love a few of her other books better.

I really liked the twist at the end.

Miss Smith did a good job with narration in this book, but I gave her a 4 star review because in some parts to me, she sounded kind of bored.

Not what it first seems.

Dirty Promotion is a Standalone by Sky Corgan.

This one started in a much different place for me then where I ended up.

Dirty talk with wicked demands, makes for one spicy story! So if you dont like sex, please pass.

When the story firsts starts, I didn't like our hero. I could not tell if Xan was just an A-hole, or if there was something more to him. Being an erotic story, it could go either way. I couldnt tell if he was mocking the heroine and breaking her faith was a conquest thing for him (because that would be downright hateful) or if there was an actual non-sinister reason for his actions. I cant really comment more without spoiling something.

the end of a wonderful story

4.5 stars. This series was originally published chapter by chapter. It is now packaged as 4 parts, with 5 chapters per part. This means each chapter has a little bit of a recap but it doesn't detract from the overall story. Each part ends on a cliffhanger so if you're interested in the story you'll want to get the next part right away.

The premise seems dark - Mistress Primrose is seeking revenge for what was done to her sister. The real story is what happens when the older brother of one of her "victims" decides to make her pay for her actions. He didn't know the reasons for what she did so it's easy to understand why he feels he's correct.

This was a good foundation to the story and it pulled me in. I wanted to know the rest of their story. I immediately bought the next part once I finished this one and I began reading it right away. There is BDSM and hot sex, but it adds to the story instead of just something to make things interesting. There is a real story here, not just strung together steamy events.

Both Beatrice and Spencer are motivated by their love for their sibling and the need to avenge what was done to them. I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop. This is what happens when you do something which may be wrong, but for the right reasons. There are no real victims here except for Beatrice's younger sister. What Beatrice and Spencer did was done to willing "victims".

The reason for 4.5 stars instead of 5 is that I feel four parts is a bit much. After paying for each part, I spent more on this story than I normally would on a book. I've read the entire story at this point and I'm going back and reviewing each part (with pretty much the same information). However, knowing the entire story now I would go back and do it again. The story was really good and I really liked it. My suggestion is that you check the pricing on each part and decide if you're willing to pay for each part. You'll want to get the whole thing and these are cliffhangers.

Ironically, I would have liked the story to be a bit longer. Rather than ending where it did, it would be nice to see the next one or two years.

Chris & Mia's Rock Star Wedding !!!!!!

This story is about Chris and Mia's Rockstar wedding. It has been so amazing seeing them now and the beautiful family they created. There are a few very Emotional bumps in the road to their wedding but nothing can stop a love like the love Chris and Mia has. Chris has come very far since book 1 but, Chris is still Chris (dark & wounded from his past ) Mia is still his Angel. She has made him such a better man. 1 quote from this book that Swallowed Me up was : Chris ... " I'll NEVER give her up,,,I would sell what's left of my Soul to Keep Her." Their love is so beautiful, I could not stop Crying. I don't want to give to much away but I fell in love with them all over again. Then there is the Band Members. OMG How I loveeee them. They are so wild and funny and you just NEVER know what they are going to do next. There is also a Wild Bachelorette Party. Lots of Hot Sex, So many funny parts that I was crying and laughing at the same time. This is my all time favorite Rock Star Series and it just keeps getting Better and Better. Mia and Chris are finally going to make their wedding of their dreams come true.

Chris still has some tendencies to fly off the handle but Mia always brings him back. Chris is faced with unexpected news and does not handle it well at all at first. Mia needs time to think after his reaction and Chris does not take the time apart well at all. Mia runs away for time to think but I really think their family and friends were way too much into their business. Gwen had no business walking in on Chris' therapy session with Dr. J and that bothered me. Mia and Chris did get the wedding of their dreams and an unexpected dream that came true for both of them. It did take Chris a while to get his head on straight but he finally realized what he really wanted with Mia and went for it. Overall a good, quick read and a nice holiday surprise.

Love this series hard!!!

This series is one of my all time favorites. Loved reading about Chris and Mia's wedding. The vulnerability and insecurities they felt were so well written. The comedic banter between the bands, their families and friends never disappoints.

Exciting Story!

This was a wonderful story and it was well written. BDSM in a great setting. The narrator was good also!

Unique and captivating

A story this original deserves to be experienced. I was hooked almost from the beginning. The narrator starts off a bit robotic but warms up quickly.

Community Affairs

You have to love the town of Brooks Hallow, the town is full of Doms, Subs, Masters and Slaves. This is a very open community and very sharing. The characters are unique in their own little world. I love that Allysa is an author writing about everyone in the storyline. Darius is a great character as well, not your typical Sheriff. I did find the roll play a tadge cheeky and the audio quality was a little off. Overall this is my third book from this town and worthy of reading.

Captivating and Erotic

This book grabbed and held my undivided attention from start to finish. First and foremost it's an Erotic tale, and yet it was so much more. There are two epic love stories intertwined with the Erotic bliss that is this book. It ripped my heart to shreds while simultaneously putting it back together, and I loved every minute of it.

Yes, it was a good story but the narrator took away from it.

I got this book via audiobook boom. The story was good but got lost in the narration.

More of a romance

This story is good but the bdsm doesn't happen till the end.

The narration leaves a lot to be desired.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Well there really wasn't much BDSM in this book...so I'm not sure I would have that in the title. I wasn't really a fan of the narrator either...she tended to drag out some of her words...ones that really didn't need to be.

Would you be willing to try another book from Sky Corgan? Why or why not?

sure...I liked the story.

its hard to give 3...at times I thought she was great & then there were times that she embellished or dragged out a word that just shouldn't have been

Medicore storyline, not much there. Abrupt ending. Narration not good (narrator nasally/whiny).
