Fab, and very silly

Henry's Cat is great. This is not a sound recording from the tellie programme of old. I wasn't allowed to watch it when it was on the tellie so can't say whether the same stories have been used but they are short and sweet and our bedtime story of choice whenever we're in a hotel for the night.

A major segway to freedom and truth!

I just bought this book after attending a "Caring for the heart" one-on-one counseling session. This book is amazing. I see how things I endured growing up are shaping my life today in how I treat my wife and daughter. Mrs Parry said in the book that a mother daughter relationship is not about control and discipline. It is about a heart relationship. That is so true! I just read four chapters in one sitting. I intend to go read four more after a short break. Thank you Mrs Parry for sharing your heart and your struggles growing up so that those of us living the nightmare may one day have freedom.

A book of hope

This book presented very real issues in today's society. Children can be given a home, but there are many emotional needs that need to be met. The story of Birdie gives direction on how someone can have those needs met even when they reach adulthood.

Hope and Healing

This book provides a rare glimpse into the life and thoughts of a person who suffered immeasurable abuse and neglect as a child as she was moved from home to home, also the ongoing difficulties and pain this creates as an abused and abandonned child becomes an adult. The book also explains how Birdie found healing and freedom from the pain through God's work in her life, providing hope to those also going through such pain in their own lives. Thank you, Birdie, for your willingness to be vulnerable and share so openly about your life!

Amazing woman and a real inspiration

Amazing story of a heart healed by God.

This book was hard to put down before completing. Even though the story could be considered dark with the hard like Birdie experienced seeing the way God lead her through was faith-building.

It was very good.

What does Richard Mitchley bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

I liked the way the man became the characters. He didn't read to fast or to slow.
