The woman you are about to meet has been through hell. At 17 she and her boyfriend were in an accident and he died. I interviewed her about eight months later and she was struggling. Recently I saw a post of hers on social media and tonight she joins us from the past and to answer questions in the present. 

He's a normal guy from Springfield Oregon with super human powers.

Yeh, to me anyone who can run 100 miles in 24 hours and like it, is super human.

His life has not been easy and he talks about that and more in this episode of Get Real with Rick Dancer

Catfishing is a horrible crime. The perpetrator picks on women and men who they think they can win over. They lie, cheat, tell them how much they mean to them and then ask for money. It sounds like something you would never fall for but that's what those who get caught up in the web thought to.

A daughter from New Jersey wrote me the other day telling her mom's story about a guy using my pictures. I asked if she'd come on the show and they agreed.

This is a real story and please if you make comments remember you haven't been there and you don't know how you'd respond.

But also listen for the warning signs.

The young man in this episode understands suicide and all that it can do to friends and family. He's had his own thoughts of such action and started an organization to help educate people about this horrible plague in our state. Just this last week a local business woman I used to know very well, took her life. We'll also hear from Bill Lundun about some of the news of the week. They moved up to Oregon from California to retire on a tree farm. Then the Labor Day wild fires came destroying much of their forest. They came here with preconceived ideas about the Timber Industry, but those ideas have changed radically and now they are actually serving on boards and commissions. This is their story.

He's only 36 years old and very recently had a heart attack. I read that on his social media page and contacted him to see if he'd come on and talk with us about what happened and how his life is changing. This is all part of our battle to find the positive as we outweigh and out maneuver the negative.
