The guy you are about to meet is amazing. I met him a few years ago and thought this guy is meant for greatness. He experiences life in a wheelchair but don't let that piece of equipment get in the way, as many do. Once you hear what he has to say the chair disappears, as it should.
He survived a heart attack and now has changed his life. But this is much deeper than a story of survival it’s the story of man who grew up fatherless but became father to so many.
We’ll also talk hydration, show some products we use, have a little fun with meme’s and introduce you to a woman who used to ranch cattle in the area. Her favorite saying was the best help you can find is at the end of your arm.
Wow, there’s a saying that needs to come back.
I love conversations that start one place and all of the sudden throw you down a deep hole. That's what this next conversation is for me. He grew up on an Indian Reservation in Montana as saw what government tried to do didn't work. Then he worked in intelligence for the government in the middle east....same thing....and now here at home. He exposes the game, the bullshit and the reason he thinks its time for a movement
There's a lot of talk about Carbon, greenhouse gases, global warming and climate change. But what often is not part of the narrative is how forest management plays into all that. Here's a company in Oregon doing some amazing things with timber and in turn helping clear the air.
Now that I live in rural America the connection to the land is so much broader than before. I see honey bee's on my flowers and want to plant more. We understand the relationship between farms, nature and us. One of our newest clients Compton Family Wines is all about regenerative farming. I love talking about this stuff because I think going back to the old ways is the new way and will soon be the most cost effective way.

Track and field is a huge deal in Eugene Oregon. What's happening the next ten days is a once in a lifetime even for the community. Everyone's putting on their best faces and expecting tens of thousands of people and millions of dollars to come through the area.
Let's talk about that and show you want's going on.
This is a story about a town that used to be rundown, messy and some joked about Springfield being Spring-tucky. No one's saying that anymore at least not anyone who's been there. How did they do it and why in a time when some Oregon towns are having a tough time is Springfield seeing new growth? We'll find out. Oh, and it's not all new business and great food....Springfield is also opening up to people who were also not always seen for who they are.
They lived in Oregon but needed a change. They found an events venue, bought it and most of them moved to Helena Montana.
We'll show you the cool space and tell more of their story.
Also, we head to Charleston Oregon to catch up with Bait & Tackle Rob on happenings on the coast.
I've known Betsy Johnson for many years. She's been serving in the Oregon legislator for decades and now she's running to lead Oregon as its governor. With any campaign, the snarly, snotty hit pieces come out to try to stop you, I do remember. So we had a conversation about that and what it will take to get her elected.
There are many elements of a healthy life. This episode is full of things, trips, travel and skills that could save your life.
Let us know what you think after you listen.
We'd love your input.
