Catfishing is a horrible crime. The perpetrator picks on women and men who they think they can win over. They lie, cheat, tell them how much they mean to them and then ask for money. It sounds like something you would never fall for but that's what those who get caught up in the web thought to.
A daughter from New Jersey wrote me the other day telling her mom's story about a guy using my pictures. I asked if she'd come on the show and they agreed.
This is a real story and please if you make comments remember you haven't been there and you don't know how you'd respond.
But also listen for the warning signs.
The young man in this episode understands suicide and all that it can do to friends and family. He's had his own thoughts of such action and started an organization to help educate people about this horrible plague in our state. Just this last week a local business woman I used to know very well, took her life. We'll also hear from Bill Lundun about some of the news of the week. And if you have anything you'd like to comment about what's going on with the DOJ, feel free.

He's only 36 years old and very recently had a heart attack. I read that on his social media page and contacted him to see if he'd come on and talk with us about what happened and how his life is changing. This is all part of our battle to find the positive as we outweigh and out maneuver the negative. Oh, another way to do that is spend a few moments with Mr Personality "Bait & Tackle Rob" joining us live from Coos Bay, Oregon.
There really is room for discussion from both sides.
A Salem area counselor has talk show on KYKM 1430 out of Salem where she addresses some pretty hot topics but not from a media standpoint but one of equality and conversation.
She and I are going to do just that tonight.
Also it’s Wednesday and Bill Lundun joins us with these stories:
12 boys from the area just won the game of a lifetime and are about to win another. The U 13 Willamette Valley Babe Ruth All Starts are going to the world series in Virginia, but they need our help. The generosity shown so far is amazing, we’ll talk about that and how you can help. Also on our Elements of a Healthy life show tonight we’ll have a surprise for you from Elements. And we’ve partnered up with the “Drifters” baseball team in Springfield, Sarah Keepers joins us live from the stadium with the team. And Kim Stark joins us with a special athlete to talk about staying healthy.
Oregon politics, first case of a hospital settling with employees for firing them for not getting the "jab" and lots of fun conversation. Don't miss this.
A former inmate work camp is now a place of healing for our homeless veterans. How did this all happen and who are the folks behind the program? On this episode you will find out and we'll tell you about a poker run to help fund the place. Also, words of wisdom from an interview we did last night. I woke up thinking about what this young man said, put a few clips together, so we could hear them one more time.
