The world is a crazy place right now but despite what you hear from the loudness of the multi-media's, there are people who are thinking about life, like you think of life. Here's just a few thoughts before I head home to have a beer with my wife and get lost in a good book or maybe an episode of Yellowstone.
The young man you are about to listen to, does not hold back. He's made mistakes, he still has demons but he also has something new.....it's called hope. Where did he get it? How can we help give that same hope to others? What was his life like growing up? It's all in this next episode of Get Real with Rick Dancer. share it please.
Her name is Amelia Abel. I met her 15 to 20 years ago and she's been a part of my life I cannot explain. She makes me more kind. She makes me more patient. Amelia makes me softer. Watch she may do the same for you.
For those who are not from Western Oregon, Rick Dancer maybe a new name for you. No, he's not a stripper he's a guy who worked in television journalism most of his life, ran for statewide public office and now produces interviews and videos online for an audience of over 400k a month. But his younger audience is asking for sound only (am I that ugly lol) so that's why we started this podcast. Also, on here we plan to get even more real because.....we can.
This is a pretty raw topic for me. As a former television journalist freedom of speech is huge. Asking questions is just part of my life. When major platforms begin censoring you and me red flags go waving in the wind. I'm trying to find some common ground with people and that is what this podcast is all about.
