Truly and immediately useful information

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This might seem to be a quick listen at just over two hours, but you'll find yourself bookmarking and re-listening like crazy! This isn't just one of those theory books, this book contains resources that are immediately useful to every listener. Plus, tons of ideas of how to use a virtual assistant.

What does Scott Panfil bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

Face-paced narration that is clear and easily understandable. A friendly voice that's easy to listen to.

How could the performance have been better?

There's no real usable content in this book... the title says "The Ultimate Guide to Finding, Hiring, and Working with Virtual Assistants", but all the author talked about for 2 hours is basic concepts, what VAs cost, and a few websites!

There is no specific strategies on working with VAs after you hire them. No time management or ways to transition your workload over to VAs. All the author says is "talk to them on Skype", "I like to hire them monthly". Totally useless.

What character would you cut from Virtual Assistant Assistant: The Ultimate Guide to Finding, Hiring, and Working with Virtual Assistants?

This book is just way to simple and lacks any real-world business VA relationship strategies or processes. Getting my money back!

Crowdfunding is the process of funding a project or experiment by raising monetary contributions from a large number of people. Before crowdfunding, entrepreneurs came up against numerous challenges to protect funding like applying for a small business loan, searching for grants, borrowing money from family members and friends or using their savings. Crowdfunding, however, provides a method to obtain the funds needed to launch an idea quickly and with the support of an engaged community. Erick Walk with this enlightening step-by-step guide teaches us the types of Crowdfunding and how to run a campaign. I certainly enjoyed the chapter with the crowdfunding success stories. Hugely recommended.

Can you say extremely basic and vague? I can assure you, you can learn much, much more simply buy spending a little time on a few crowd funding websites. Save your $8.99 and your time. Nothing worth reading here. Definitely not worth the paper this book is printed on.

It's not a book. There are only 21 small pages with big writing only touching subjects without any explanation of how to do it. Completely useless.

What disappointed you about Scrum Master Certification?

It does not add any value if you have already read the Scrum Guide (and you have to read that to pass anyway). The author picks parts of it constantly and just describes it with his own words, without adding anything you wouldn't have already guessed.

How to end miscommunication and inefficiency throughout your enterprise by tapping into the strengths of your diverse workforce

This is one in a series of volumes that anthologizes what the editors of the Harvard Business Review consider to be âmust readsâ in a given business subject area, in this instance cultural intelligence. I have no quarrel with any of their selections, each of which is eminently deserving of inclusion. Were all of these ten articles purchased separately as reprints, the total cost would be at least $60 and the practical value of any one of them exceeds that.

Given the fact that Amazon US now sells this one for only $16.14, thatâs quite a bargain. The same is true of volumes in other series such as âHBR Guide toââ, âHarvard Business Review onââ, and âHarvard Business Essentials." I also think there is great benefit derived from the convenience of having a variety of perspectives and insights gathered in a single volume.

In all of the volumes in the âHBR 10 Must Readsâ series that I have read thus far, the authors and their HBR editors make skillful use of several reader-friendly devices that include âIdea in Briefâ and âIdea in Actionâ sections, checklists with or without bullet points, boxed mini-commentaries (some of which are âguestâ contributions from other sources), and graphic charts and diagrams that consolidate especially valuable information.
