Ok

Not as moving or outstanding as most of her other books but still ok. Was a little on the dull ordinary side, no fiery or tempestuous personalities that are usually a big part of the charm of the characters.

India seems such a mysterious place

I enjoy these stories about India. Barbara Cartland seems to come alive and her writing sparkles as she share her feelings and experiences there. She always includes a part of history in it that I never heard before.

Good book. Much better than a lot of the pink collection.

Fantastic!

To say that I love this story is an understatement. I adore it. I felt so connected with Jessica. We have a lot in common and it was surprising to see that I'm not alone when it comes to body image issue or food issue.

I will listen to this audiobook again and again.

The narrators did an amazing job. Tor Tom And Charley Ongel never disappoint. They offer the perfect emotions throughout the story.

I very much enjoyed the story line and enjoyed listening to another book narrated by Tor Thom! He's one of my autobuys. I love his voice and Charley Ongel was amazing!

What did you like best about this story?

This story is about two different people who are trying to move on from their pasts. I enjoyed this story and how it shows a woman who doesn't think she can control her urges and doesn't think she's beautiful Jessica. And Mike helps her to see the beauty in herself. As well as Jessica soon helps Mike to get thru his past endeavors.

I enjoyed all of them. I love how they brought the characters to life

Beautifully written and narrated

Leslie does an amazing job of tackling real life issues in her beautifully written stories. This book tackled obesity, loving ones self, abuse, addiction and recovery. so beautifully written with a beautiful love story intertwined seamlessly.

The best part of The Ground Beneath Our Feet was the narration by Tor Thom and Charley Ongel. Tor especially was incredible and has such a deep and smooth voice. *swoon* I would not have been able to get through this book without their wonderful performances.

Would you listen to Add Love and Mix again? Why?

Yes. It was heartwarming and gives you hope. A very sweet, fun story.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Add Love and Mix?

I think when Elsa shows up on Christmas Eve with a surprise for Jase.

What aspect of Steve Baldersons performance would you have changed?

His cadence. He has a nice voice but the reading was a little choppy.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I did.

Add Love and Mix is a sweet romance between two men that have their lives all worked out. Scott is a paramedic and Jase is a firefighter. They have been together for years and love each other. To be together more they work the same shifts.. When Elsa shows up with Jase's child and obviously a druggie he wonders how much else he doesn't know and if this will change their relationship. It is a story of life change and true love.

If you like firemen, men in uniforms, holiday stories and cute kids you will love this!

Not sure where this was going...

Boy. Im not sure how to really even review this.

First, the couple is already together as you can tell by the blurb so their romance is pretty well established. It almost reads like a sequel wherein wed met the MCs in an earlier book and this was what happens next. They definitely have stuff to overcome in their relationship, but its not that they dont love one another so its kind of a strange book to categorize from that sense.

Its Sean Michael, so we do get some sex and that is pretty steamy but this is the family book Sean Michael versus the BDSM Sean Michael so sex isnt the main focus.

The main focus is, instead, the trials and tribulations of two youngish men, who hadnt ever really wanted kids (at least not yet) suddenly becoming parents. Which is kinda interesting but more exhausting and sometimes whiny.

On the one hand, I think the author did a good job of setting up realistic hurdles and having the couple work through them in ways that felt authentic. Maybe a little too realistic. It just felt like work and I wasnt ever very invested in anything because you knew they were going to stick together so it was just a matter of time and it was just a bit blah.

What didnt help was the fact that I was listening to this and the narrator, isnt very interesting either.

Excellent Second Book

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I would recommend the series. I like it when an author chooses to write about a set of adults who are not young and fresh out of high school or college. There are so many books out there about them. There are also too many about older men and younger women. But when two adults who have many life experiences under their belts find true love it is a refreshing change.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I liked all of them. I can't pick any one that stood out.

Which scene was your favorite?

I did not have a favorite although I liked the scenes when the hero was chastising himself for not doing what he should have done in high school and taking so long to realize what he should have done.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No really. the book flowed along nicely and even though it was a continuation of book 1 it was a stand alone all on it's own. You could listen to this book without having to listen to the first one because there was enough detail to help you understand what was going on without it being overwhelming.

The thing I like about the "Barefoot Bay" series is the feeling that these are real people, and real men. Nothing is too far out there. The romance is hot. The story had a twist I didn't expect. And it was handled graciously. B.J. Harrison has the perfect smooth voice for these heroes. Mmmmmm. Yum.

High adrenaline!

Kimberley Troutte is one of my favorite authors because her books are high adrenaline action adventures that I can't get enough of. I'm addicted to her high intensity heroes and the brave women who love them enough to fight right along with them. Ty Whitehorse is a seasoned SEAL caught up in a horrendous situation when he finds a woman freezing to death outside his temporary shelter during a blizzard. I don't want to include spoilers, so let me say, he and Holly are a couple I hope to read more about in future books by this exciting author of romantic suspense.

Disappointing and unrealistic

I read the review and thought it would be a good action book. Disappointment ruled. The review was the only plot in the book. It was as though the plot really dropped right there. I have developed a liking for many romance-military action books as long as they don't use a little military action to just introduce the rest of the romance book. I don't believe for a moment that a Navy Seal would just fall in love with the only woman within miles and miles after the book has just talked about him being picky and looking for the real think. As a female having worked in Law Enforcement (Emergency Response Unit), Fire Fighting and Emergency Medical Services over my career I can't remember a time my mind raged over sex when my life and other lives was at stake. I agree it that after the fact you want close contact because you meet your mortatility head on. However, this (as others) seemed to be written to bridge to sex. They talk about the original plot but it never develops to the end. Not once does Ty's encounter with the bad guys come into play. We only hear about Holly on the sled worrying about Ty and they sitting on her friend's couch worrying about Ty. The last part is just unrealistic at best. Do you really believe the Congressman would be scared? Come on folks.

Oh wow! This was hot! This one is #3 in a series and while they can be read out of order, it's so much more satisfying to keep them in order. This is Ty Whitehorse's story. He will make you want to go out and find your own Navy SEAL.

Secrets (Finding Live - The Outsider Series Book 4)

A wonderful story of a love between two people that not even the diagnosis of a brain tumor can tear them apart. Struggling to keep the ranch bills and worry from his wife, Jed is struggling to keep doing as much as he can himself, wanting no help from his family. Pride goeth before the fall, as the old adage says.

So far this has been a fine read. I would recommend this for either right- before- bed, or on the beach, a quiet afternoon, etc. There are quite a few dynamic features to the story line. A few twists and tunes, and the characters are pretty well developed. There are a few parts that could be edited slightly better, but I do know most authors on here prefer for their readers to help them out in this aspect.

It was not hard reading by any means, but it was also not an elementary level book. Be prepared for some love scenes. But honestly, sometimes they do add to the storyline, right?

I hope to either purchase more in this series (if there is one) or get the author motivated to write more! Not that this was left with just a cliffhanger or anything, I have just loved how the storyline was developed, and would love to know where this could head into the future. Knowing how the characters have developed, interacted, and have grown leaves me with a lot of hope for more. I always love series/ books where there is a spin- off into a similar setting, but with acquaintances that the characters had, or will have.

Overall, this is a great value and I would highly recommend it. It is a great value for the price, and it simply cannot be beat! I will be purchasing more from this author in the future, and look forward to new releases.

Premonition

A story of finding the love of your life with a commitment to do what ever is necessary to protect that person. In this book Jed makes a number of financial decisions without telling his wife then has an unexpected accident that conservative impact on their lives. A well told story that held my attention and made me want to learn more. I will buy the next book in the series.

I loved this series! I have been hooked since reading the forgotten child, and it's just getting better. Plus the love scenes are perfect not xxrated like some books that I pick up. Once by hit something like that I stop reading

This series held my interest with this family. The men are all handsome and strong. I just tried to buy Runaway and couldn't do digital download. Very disappointing. If you enjoy a good romance and like a series, theses is not me series you'll enjoy y immensely.

Worst book ever! This author was clearly challenged to write a book wherein she would say each sentence three times in three different ways. It is the only excuse I can come up with. Her other books have been at minimum, average. she's not a 5 star witter but not THIS poorly executed. Vague and blase' . (Very little story line, abundant reiteration.) Waste of my money. & time.
