This was excellent book...I didn't know what is Flipping Houses, i mean, whether it is a technical term or just a made-up term. Good thing that the book defined first and foremost what flipping houses is. For a non technical person like me, of course i need to know first what is it all about. The book also discussed the financial aspect of the business including how to find a property up to the actual selling of the flip.

Listen to this book first before any other

For the newbie investor, this book is a must-have. I highly recommend starting with any "beginners" books before any others, and this one is the one to get. It really lays things out in a logical fashion, treating the listener like they are starting from the very beginning and know nothing. That is to say, I really like how the topics are broken down into laymen's terms and I feel like even a 5th grader could understand how to invest by listening to this book -- that is something that is important for a newbie who might initially be really intimidated by investing.

Taught me everything I needed to get started in Forex. I've been wanting to try getting into this for the past year or so and finally took the plunge. Glad I got this one before jumping in blind. Definitely saved me losing some money.

I have read different books on this topic and this is the audio book without the use of technical jargon and complicated explanations. This audio is nice and simple and goes directly to the point. In addition I got the book as it presents a useful and practical strategy. The narration is clear with nice pace.

Short, but effective and informative.

There's not much to say besides "well done Mr. James John". The methods for saving money and advice that'll help you gain some new habits regarding the way you manage your financial resources are more than just helpful. What makes this book even more appealing is the fact that it won't take you decades to read it. It's a quick read and you'll be able to establish a completely different view towards money once you're done with reading it. I hope it will affect you the way it affected me, because now I have a much clearer insight in what exactly I want to do and achieve with all the money I earn and save in days/months/years to come.

Disappointed.

My expectations weren't met. There were some interesting and useful information but nothing to get me started. I expected some hand holding and found more information to research. I felt the narrators voice was very dry and rigid. If you want to know what day trading is, the book is great. If you want to get started and think the book will give u step by step advice, look elsewhere.

Just what I needed

If you could sum up Penny Stock Trading & Options - Trading QuickStart Guides in three words, what would they be?

I am interested in penny stocks but didn't know a lot about them, so I signed up with an online brokerage and researched on my own. The more I read about it, the more cautious I became. After a few weeks, I got nervouse about investing and I backed out of the idea entirely and without investing a single penny. I'm glad I waited.

I received a copy of this audio book free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. As it turns out, it was just what I needed. This is a primer for the beginning investor who is interested in dipping a toe in the penny stock and stock options markets. Actually, it isn't one audio book, but two, offered together in one convenient bundle along with a companion pdf.

Narrated by Peter Bierma, this is an easy to understand beginner's introduction to the world of penny stocks, and in some aspects, the stock market as a whole. The first chapter starts off with the basics of stock trading. The lessons covered the risks, the metrics and formulas needed to properly research the stocks before you even consider investing. It also warns about some of the scams that are rampant in this largely unregulated area of the market.

I had already done some research into the topic, so the first few chapters were somewhat rudimentary for me. However, I was unfamiliar with the metrics, formulas and ratio calculations and they were quite helpful. These were the tools I did not have before.

Compelling, fact based and unapologetically honest

Jim's understanding of monetary policy, fiat currencies history and insider information of government behaviour makes his new case for gold hard to argue against. He cleverly combines simple facts, statistical evidence and complexity theory to paint a clear picture for a new case of the oldest, truest form of money. I cannot wait to get stuck into his two other books.

Nothing I haven't heard before

Almost everything I have heard on this audio book I have heard before in other books or interviews by James Rickards. Disappointed he had nothing new to bring to the book. All the information I could have got for free from reading his articles and by listening to his interviews.

Will not convince gold bears, nothing ever does.

J Rickards eloquently puts forth the new case for gold, which isn't really new, of course. As he is probably aware, this "new" case for gold will do nothing to convince gold bears, but there are some surprising revelations to give you pause, and if you're in for the long haul, you will be just fine. Enjoyed it as I expected, as aI share Rickards view, but there is a lot in there and I need to listen to it again.

Great book for Goldbugs

This is a great book which lays out the case for holding a portion of your wealth in Gold and Silver. It covers the history behind gold and silver as a metal, the historical effects of inflation as well as how to go about investing in gold. Much like James Rickard's other books I would highly recommend this.
