Subtitle: Easy to Understand Guide on Channeling Spirits and Invocations
    Author: Andrew G. Lilley
    Narrator: Larry Terpening
    Format: Unabridged
    Length: 38 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 03-08-13
    Publisher: Lloyd Lewis
Ratings: 4 of 5 out of 24 votes
Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Religious Thought
    Publisher's Summary:
When the topic of channeling comes up, a lot of people are rather skeptical of it and dismiss it as quickly as it arose. As this practice makes a resurgence in our society, it is essential that we have an understanding of what we are dealing with. The best way to deal with a challenge is to have at least a basic understanding of it. The author goes to great lengths to put as much detail into this book as he possibly can.
Channeling Spirits: Your Guide to Finding That Doorway to the Spirit World is focused on the process that one needs to go through to be able to get to that level where one is able to communicate effectively and safely with spiritual entities.
The material is pretty easy to listen to and understand. Even the novice channeler will be able to make substantial progress with the help of this guide. The aim of this book is to inform and educate. In the long run, the challenge does not lie in the process, but in the mindset of the individual that is thinking about trying out the ancient art of channeling.
About the Author: Andrew G. Lilley grew up in a home where his parents - though Christian - sought to educate their children on all other forms of religion, as well as other practices and beliefs. As a result, Andrew had a rare opportunity that many children did not have: He was free to learn all that he wanted on any subject matter under the guidance of his parents.
He grew up with this sense of wanting to learn more, and it followed through college and on to his adult years. He always had a profound interest in channeling, and so he did his research and made connections with other people that were learning or proficient in the art of channeling. After a while he had enough confidence to try the process, and found the experience to be breathtaking. He then made the decision to help promote the resurgence of this ancient practice. It started with small online posts and then the idea to create a book came to him and he followed through.
Andrew leaves the listener to make an informed decision as to whether or not they want to learn more about channeling in the long run.

    very Christian and misleading
no where in this book do they describe HOW to channel an entity. on the contrary, the author wrongly states "you must use a human medium to contact spirits" and does not explain how to become one. there is religious dogma INSISTING on calling upon the "light of christ" , something I found disrespectful and abhorrent to add to a metaphysical and non religious book.
    Great Book
This is an informative explanation and guide on what to expect and how to channel your spirit guides.
Exactly the information I needed to work better with my spirit guides
No fluff. All resonated as true. Now I can listen to them better. And safely.
    Loved loved loved this book
This is one of those books that after reading the entire book, your disappointed because you wish there were more... I couldn't get enough of this book and although it s only 38 minutes long, it touches on every aspect of channeling. I wish every subject went into more detail, however it still was a great read and gave so much insight about channeling and preparing the body and mind to channel your guides.

In this fascinating discussion, Dr. David Hawkins enlightens us about the pathway of spiritual evolution. He shows us the actual innocence of the human mind and the one way to overcome the programming to which all of humanity is subjected. If man is intrinsically innocent and believes what appears before him, how can he arrive at true wisdom and understanding about the world as it actually is, and not just the way it appears? The hope of mankind actually rests on spiritually advanced people, who make up less than 3 percent of the worlds population. Dr. Hawkins states that our own perception is wrong 50 percent of the time! So what can an individual do to be able to truly see for himself? This is explained and demonstrated in this startling and thought-provoking seminar.

Good book not a good audio book
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
The book is interesting and worth a read (if you are interested in divination). You'll learn where Geomancy came from (from arabic countries and picked up by Medieval Europe). ...but beyond the introduction portion containing the history you'll need the book in paper form. If you are actually interested in divining a few questions you'll need the charts and various other tables in the book and it becomes very inconvient to have to write down dozens and dozens of meanings for different symboles. The audio book references an accompanying PDF file with much of the information you'd need but the PDF file is not actually listed on the Audible website anywhere I could find (perhaps Audible will post the PDF, but until then you'll still need the paperback to make use of the information in the book).
If you want this book either buy the paper version or be prepared to buy the paper back version once you've hit a wall on taking notes from the Audiobook.

    Publisher's Summary:
Does goodness require God? Do we need eternity for meaningful lives? Should we believe in God without evidence? With historical adherents as various as Mark Twain, Einstein, Freud, Philip Pullman, and Frank Zappa, Humanisms central quest is to live with meaning with no need for the supernatural. Lively, provocative, and refreshingly rant-free, this audiobook is essential listening for all - whether atheist, agnostic, believer, or of no view - who wish better to understand what it means to be human.
    Editorial Reviews:
This audiobook is an essential tool for understanding the philosophy of humanism. Anyone who's ever wondered what this system is about will be pleasantly surprised with the thoroughness and vastness of information herein. Cave is meticulous and specific, rooting his theories in literary, spiritual, and ethical references. The audio challenges the idea of God, causing the audience to think about what a godless world might be like. Andrea Powell's narration is measured and clear. Her voice engages the listener without provoking him. This is an indispensable introduction to the subject.

    A decent read
Great narrator for what can at times be very dry material. I'm not a student anymore at university but it felt like a book I'd have used to inform my work. Thorough and well thought out. I enjoyed it from beginning to end.
