Do you ever sit in church and wonder, 'Is this actually what Jesus intended?'”
It’s the Tuesday after Easter, and I’m asking the hard questions: What now? How did we get from the raw, bold, and selfless family of God in the Book of Acts to the version of "church" we see today? I’ll be honest—sometimes I’m challenged by the disconnect. I’m hungry for the power of the early church, not just the comfort of modern tradition.
What was it about them that made them so different? The Holy Spirit, yes, but how did we get from there to where we are today, and what was the family culture?
But how do we actually live this out? We can't unless we stay connected with the Lord and continually renew our minds to think like Him on things. This requires a surrendered life.
Let's stop just "doing" church and start letting Him transform us from the inside out.

"I knew her before, and I know her now. That woman has been marked."
In this raw, personal episode, Dana Lyons explores the power of the "markings" we carry. From the physical scars of cancer and motherhood to the spiritual seal of the Holy Spirit, Dana shares how our deepest "broken" moments often become our greatest gifts.
Drawing from the story of the Resurrection, Dana challenges us to stop hiding our scars and start seeing them as a testimony. Whether you’re celebrating Easter or navigating a hard season, learn how to let your life be a marking that points others to the hope of Jesus.

We all know the feeling of a house that's gotten too noisy and too cluttered, but have you ever stopped to realize your soul might be in the exact same condition? Today, I’m talking about why we get spiritually sluggish and how to give God "full access" to every room in our lives, even the ones we’ve kept locked.
Is your spiritual house a little too crowded? In this episode, I’m leaning into my love for spring cleaning to talk about a different kind of mess—the noise and baggage that build up in our hearts over time. As we approach Easter, it’s the perfect time to ask: Does God actually feel "at home" in us, or have we pushed Him into a corner closet while we let bitterness and distractions take up all the space?
Inside this episode, we discuss:
