Finally back with a new episode of Get Write To It with Chris Stevens and it's a DelState Hornet Homecoming! My good friend from undergrad Tee (@TeeTheGem on Twitter) joins the show to discuss one of our favorite albums from our time together on the Hornet newspaper staff, Jay Z's Blueprint 2, an album Hov doesn't feel is one of best, but one we've enjoyed a lot over the years. We talk about the beats, the flows (the flows that might've been borrowed) and much more.

On this week's episode of Get Write To It with Chris Stevens, I discuss the sky NOT falling regarding midterm elections and how the young voters are clearing the way for hopefully a better country while the stuck on stupid generation needs to get it together.

I also talk about why and how mainstream news media has given us anxiety and agita the last year plus about these elections and where do we go from here.

Lastly, I discuss the video that had Twitter in an uproar this past weekend regarding Black men, Black women and dating preferences. The video was foolish as was the stereotyping and I explain that position with good, old-fashioned common sense.

Back to business here on Get Write To It with Chris Stevens! This week, I discuss my first airplane journey in 16 years and how that is still something I hope I don't have to do regularly.

I also talk about Kyrie Irving's embarrassing Anti-Semitism and why we should beware of making this fool a cause de celebre (spoiler alert: he ain't it.)

I'm also on Drake's ass about humiliating Megan Thee Stallion, which finally exposed him for what smart women have always pegged him as - a soft woman-hater. Also, I share a personal story about how I've gotten better at feeling my feelings, especially when it comes to dating and romance.

Lastly, I talk about Tesla Guy and how his purchasing Twitter is bound to fail, but the damage it could do in the short term, not just online, but everywhere else as well.

On October 27, 1972, Stevie Wonder released "Talking Book," an essential album in his legendary Classic Era and the unofficial start of his Classic Era.

To discuss the album in totality, I am pleased to have Evan Barnes, who covers University of Memphis football for the Memphis Commercial-Appeal, join the show!

Evan is a big of a Stevie fan as I am, so we didn't get too much into the technical aspect of the album, but more of the feel of the times and the greatness of Talking Book, from the melancholy to the hopeful, the spirited to the sullen and much more.

Mostly, it's about the talent of Phyllis Hyman and how Kenny Gamble and Philly International, even on the decline, could still make memorable music.

DMX was a personal hero of mine, so of course I had to review the album that literally was my soundtrack my senior year of high school, "Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood." It was his second Number One album of 1998 and the one I closely held onto as I tried to make sense of my teenage angst at the time. It's the next to last album in the #CPNTShow #BMM30 series and probably the most special.
