Your kids and grandkids will love this book!

I am so tickled to have a copy of this darling book. I read it several times to 2 of my granddaughters this week while they were visiting from out of town. They not only love 'having tea' but they also love cats. They were tickled for the story...we loved that it rhymes...but when we got to the last page and saw the REAL Lauren and Tiger, my girls went crazy! They were elated to know the story was TRUE! This has definitely become a favorite of theirs (I had to check the guest room to make sure they didn't pack it to take home with them - ha) The illustrations are as cute as they can be, and I have always preferred reading rhyming stories. This one couldn't be cuter. Buy extra copies because this book makes a great gift.

A Cup Of Tea For Tiger and Me

I loved this book and so did every child I have read it to. The book is very well written, the book is colorful and clever. This is an amazing true story to warm the hearts who read it. The author is very creative and offers on the back of the book an online interaction for all ages to enjoy. I bought 14 books and gave them as gifts to all my grandchildren, they loved the book. Would make a great gift for Easter and other occasions. You will love it too!

Adorable!

What a charming book. I love how it explained that it is based on a true story. The illustrations are whimsical and I love the loyalty of the little kitty. Only negative of this book is that I didn't have it when my children were young. haha I bought it for my neighbor who welcomed her third little girl into the world recently. Her daughters 6, 4 and 0 just love it. The kindergartener is practicing her reading skills with the book. Highly recommend for personal use and as gifts!

The story of Lauren and her cat Tiger was so adorable and brought back so many fond memories of myself as a young girl playing dress up and serving tea. This book is a delightful, well-written story with beautiful illustration and I'm looking forward to sharing it with my own children.

Aspirational and Gently Spiritual Tale

This is a lovely children's book with a non-denominational and gentle spiritual undertone, especially for girls. It's an introductory chapter book with some black and white pictures, and I would say it is best for ages 5-10 or so - the younger end of this age spectrum would need to have it read to them, but by age 8 or so, most of today's children will be able to read it themselves (both my 7 and 8 year old daughters read it themselves.) It centers on Betsy, a young girl who wants to play football with the boys in her neighborhood. They don't want her to play, but in her dreams she visits 'the golden room' and receives inspiration and advice for how to deal with them. She also receives clues that at first she can't discern, but that in a situation with the boys that arises the next day prove to be a tips on how to help heal one of the boys when he's injured. This event turns things around for Betsy, and helps her realize she may have other gifts that she can share. This book is meant to be the first in a series of books featuring Betsy and her energy healing/spiritual lessons, so I look forward to more!
