    I love all your stories
I had the series on records ( I am a grandmother) and now on my iPad. My husband and I had them for our children and now our grandchildren listen to them . It is a wonderful way , an additional tool ,to teach the values and morals to our loved ones. God bless each one of you as you continue to make these stories. As a side note, I use some of the true to life stories for the children's story at our church
    Accuracy Lacking
    Any additional comments?
The Bible narration was ok, it was not an accurate translation however. When the accuracy is questioned, the truth of the Word is questionable.

"Laural Merlington keeps the action going, quickening the pace during the headstrong lovers' fights. Their lovemaking is tantalizing as Merlington's voice grows rough and sensuous." (AudioFile)

    Pretty Good Story
The story was good but the audio production wasn't, it cleared up in the later part of the book but the beginning was pretty bad. Laural Merlington has read many books, but her voice for the male lead was pretty awful. I had to check several times to be sure it was her reading the story. I gave a 2 star rating for the performance as it almost made me give up.
This story is about a gem mine, and the length the male lead was willing to go to acquire it. Well it would seem he wasn't the only one interested in the mine as it had been abandoned and forgotten for years. So enter the bad guys. It ends as one may suspect, but again it is the journey. Before purchase listen to the sample first.

    a heartening yet challenging examination
Building your spiritual home...do you do so with sticks and mud or brick and mortar? Do you do so on a weak foundation of sand or a solid base of rock? Nathan Lambshead's book, "Withstanding the Storm" explains how he is building his, wall by wall.
The subtitle of this book is "Becoming the Christian You Were Meant to Be." It is basically a letter from Nathan, describing his struggles to do just that and offering guidance for Christians to follow. Unlike many other books on religion, it does not condemn other beliefs, nor try to sway non-Christians. Its target audience is already Christian...those seeking to build a spiritual home in the soul.
Nathan's foundation is not really rock, but the word of God. His walls are not brick but are Thanksgiving, Worship, Grace and Tithe. His roof is Fellowship. His guidance to readers comes through telling his story and recognizing that some church goers are just going to church, not learning to build their spiritual home through the lessons learned there. There is a difference in being thankful for happiness and being thankful for the lessons gone through to get to happiness. There is a difference in worshipping God and worshipping the church or pastor. There are actual examples from life in this book, a testimonial of Nathan's spiritual house building.
The tone is light and friendly, as a real letter would be. The sequence of unfolding his tale and lessons learned is perfectly laid out. Nathan gets his point across and has written an enjoyable piece. He sees how some might be feeling while sitting in the pew, because he may have felt that same way, and he reaches out in understanding. "Withstanding the Storm" is a heartening yet challenging examination of what might be going on in a reader's own life. Well done.
A little gem of a book.
A little gem of a book. "Withstanding the Storm" is a very quick and easy read, but really goes straight to the heart of matters that affect your spiritual walk. The book helps you to move past being an ineffective Christian by building your foundation on the Rock. Storms can and will come, plenty of them, as we walk this narrow path. Some storms are stronger than others, and the practical suggestions in this book helps build your faith so that even the greatest of storms won't knock you down. I truly believe that we Christians in America will soon be facing tough times. Times of real persecution. Will we be able to look someone in the face and say "Yes, I am a Christian!" even when it means possible ridicule, jail, torture, or even death? We all wonder what we would do in a trial like that.

    Great insight!
Would you listen to Look Great, Feel Great again? Why?
I listened to this story consecutively because I know I was missing some really key points. I find Joyce Meyer's personal stories and her insight to be engaging and thought provoking. I highly recommend it!
    The real McCoy~
I do feel educated and rewarded after listening to this resource. Not only did it deliver an in-depth message on the general concept of maintaining good health, but it also went on to say some practical, easy-to-understand tips and nuggets of information on food, exercise, daily dietary plans. For me, this is one of the most reliable go-to sources for the body and health. It taught me plenty of things that even my parents didn't mention a lot in my childhood. Now I know why so many people call her Mama Joyce. This is something that I could actually see myself reading once in a while to refresh my memory in terms of taking good care of my body and health.
Follow directions and we can all Look Great, Feel Great!
Very well worded and educational. If your looking for a way to eat healthful and build your immune system this book tells it like it is. It not only gives practical advice, but also educates us. I highly recommend, well worth the listen.

Not what I thought it was going to be...
It's hard to tell from the sample where this book is going. The narrator is good, and shows personality when he talks. However, most all the talk is just quotes from the bible. This audio book lacks substance, and doesn't tell me anything new or original. I was rather disappointed that I used a credit for it. I give it two stars since the narrator reads well.
    Compelling Read!
Dr. Don Colbert's "Deadly Emotions" would be a wise investment by anyone who cares for others, whether in counseling, or compassion-based ministry. The examples of people who suffered--all tragically, some terminally--touched me deeply and created a thirst for further research. How emotions impact human lives is something I see and sense on a daily basis. I recommend Dr. Colbert's book to anyone who genuinely cares for others!
    Hopeful and powerful
I really appreciate this book and how it really made it practical how you can overcome anything and how it gives tools to help with past pains. Very good balance on how to deal with emotions. Was a great blessing to me.
"Worth Listening to Save Your Life"
We live in a very stressful world today. And knowing now to deal with stress be it on the job or in one's family, this book can be a life-saver. What I really liked about "Deadly Emotions" was the fact that the author was direct and to the point how emotions can ruin one's health as well as destroying relationships. Chronic deadly emotions such as anger, violence, etc., which causes inflammation in the body can lead to all kinds of diseases. Stress is a fact of life but too much stess will kill you. Also, some stess can be good and knowing how to handle it can do a body good!
    Great Book!
What made the experience of listening to Deadly Emotions the most enjoyable?
The first time I saw Dr. Colbert was on John Hagee and I read several of The Bible Cure Books he wrote. They are short and informative. This book looks deep into the spiritual aspect of how our emotional heath affects our physical bodies. He give numerous examples of how unforgivness or bitterness can take root and create a physical condition that is overlooked by traditional medicine.
