    Publisher's Summary:
One night. That's all Finn had with the only girl he ever loved. Years later, all he has left of that night is a silver cross, a broken give a damn, and the unrelenting desire to drink her memory away. As the lead singer of Blow Hole, Finn has his pick of women, but none are able to squash the need he still carries around for Faith. To hate her offers some relief, but when Finn sees her again after so many years, it's hard to despise her. Especially when every reason he had to hate her turns out to be a lie.
As the daughter of a strict Baptist preacher, Faith Warren was sheltered from all things sinful. When she met Jimmy Finn, the epitome of all seven deadly sins, she found out exactly what she was missing. After being forced to choose between her soul and the only person in the world who made her feel alive, Faith walked away from Finn and dove headfirst into her father's preferred life. But now Finn's back and he's getting payback by wreaking havoc on her emotions. Except sometimes bad things feel good, and Faith has to decide once again if she wants to stay in her gilded cage or fly free with the dark angel of lust himself.

    Wow what a book
    Any additional comments?
I loved this book, it's well worth the credit. Finn is such a kind hearted bad boy who knows a good thing when he sees it. I can't wait for the next book :-)
Sex Drugs & Rock and Rock n Roll Love :)
    Any additional comments?
Wow, this is an emotional ride - Sex Drugs and Rock and Rock n Roll... Tabatha Vargo has done a great job of this book, so Very heart gripping. I love how this book goes back to Finn's past before he was in Blowhole. It tells the story of the woman he fell in love with and how he became the man whore of a rock-star that he was in the first book (Playing Patience). Halfway through it goes back to the present of Blowhole touring and then we are told what happens with Finn and Faith after years of hating each other. I love the way this story was written and I fell in love with Finn even more... Sigh...
Faith Warren was the innocent daughter of a strict Baptist Pastor. She was raised to be dedicated with the church and to do as she was told. Anything that wasn't related to the church was sinful and until the day sin walked into the church and made Faith question things she believed were true.
James Finn has had a hard life and life just doesn't seem to be fair to him. He gets community service at a Baptist Church for a crime he did not commit. Finn has been going through the motions of completing his services until he meets an angel named Faith. For the first time in his life Finn wants to change into a better person, someone Faith deserves to be with.
I can't wait for the next book in this exciting series, bring it on :)
    Enjoyed every minute!
Would you listen to Finding Faith again? Why?
I don't generally listen to audio books twice.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked that it was realistic and the angst was felt!
What does Tatiana Sokolov and Todd Haberkorn bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
Tatiana always brings a great performance to her characters.

    Good But Didn't Love
Would you consider the audio edition of Champagne Showers to be better than the print version?
I Didn't Read The Printed Copy. It was a good story but I personally had some issues. Like the sex scenes are repetitive & kind-of boring. The other all story plot was slow & lacked common sense. I had it figured out by chapter 3 or 4 who was doing what, so there was no mystery to the events.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Champagne Showers?
I listened to all three book straight in a row, so I can't say I have one memorable moment, except for the attacks.
What aspect of Erin Cokers performance would you have changed?
She needs to slow down!! Take A Breath!! Not sure if it was the editing of the audio or her reading, but all through the book she runs days together like it's all one sentence. So it take a minutes to realize it's the next day or hours later in the story.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
I wouldn't waste my money making this book into a movie when there are better love trilogies out there. Like the Thoughtless Trilogy By S.C. Stephens.
All Pop and Fizz - Buyer Beware
What disappointed you about Champagne Showers?
The story drags with repetitious scenes. I also don't think highly of the manipulative hero and weak heroine.
Has Champagne Showers turned you off from other books in this genre?
Yes, while I eagerly purchased all three books at once. Sad to say, I didn't even finish the second book.
You didnt love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Sorry Adler and Holt. I hate bashing writers. I lift my glass in hopes other books you write will taste sweeter but this series left me with a bitter aftertaste.
    Any additional comments?
Don't rush out and purchase all three books at once. Make sure you like the style of the first one else the next two will disappoint you.
Erotica with a lil mystery on the side....
I know I will get slammed for this review. The mystery caught me...the sex was too much for me, I finally fast forwarded through most of it. All I wanted was an answer to some of the questions. No answers here, just a hook to keep you purchasing, however, not for me. The mystery was interesting, the characters were interesting. The first part seemed too simple for the complexity it became. I really like that part. If you ever write a mystery book with a little romance please let me know.

Can Writer's Walk Down the Aisle?
The next novella in the Zondervan Bridal series is the January Bride by Deborah Raney. A little hint if you liked a novel The Accidental Bestseller which has appeared at Writerâs Corner then you will love this novel!
    Synopsis:
Madeline Houser needs to get her next novel written. Her sister says come to their house oversee the renovations and get your writing done because you can write anywhere. After spending some time at the house Maddie is barely able to get work done and wants to have a serious talk with her sister. Then her neighbor Ginny comes to the rescue. The she suggests going to this inn to write. It is owned by a widower who has lost his wife. Maddieâs first visit inspires inspiration and she finds working there great! It also helps that the widower leaves her notes. She also leaves him notes. What will happen when they actually meet? Could there be another bride going down the aisle?
    My Thoughts:
I am a writer and I love stories that discuss authors in the process of writing their novels. You would think that might not appeal to me, but it really does. I could not wait to visit this story each evening to find out what would happen next! The most major downer was that I sort of knew where the story was going with the bride going down the aisle. It was still fun to see how the plot of the story progressed.
Deborah Raney has written other novels that are worth devouring!
    Sweet romance
I'm not much of a novella person. I read A December Bride and it was a wonderfully light, sweet, fun book. I discovered that one of the good christian authors I've read (Rachel Hauck, I reviewed her books on my blog) wrote A March Bride (coming out in March, obviously) and I thought it would be fun to read these novellas. Why? Honestly because I haven't read many fictional christian authors I thought were above almost ok, so this is a cheap way of maybe discovering some new authors. I read a lot of romance novels and my favorite authors are all between books. I need more material! :)
The best thing about this book was that it made me laugh out loud. Deborah has a nice rhythm to her writing and although once again I was left wishing this were a full size book, that's not something to complain about, it is a novella, after all. The book is sweet, real, funny. The difficulties the characters face are things you can relate with, but without the excessive drama some christian authors feel they have to put in a book.

Everything you hope to find in a novel
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I believe that anyone who values a good story will find this book a pleasure. The details that bring the whole story together are shared a little at a time. That kept me in wonderful anticipation.
What did you like best about this story?
The characters are true to life but more interesting than most I've encountered in books.
What about Kevin Foleys performance did you like?
His voices for the children and women seemed odd at first but they became amusing, entertaining and comical.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I never saw the ending ahead of time and that made it all the better. I felt a wide range of emotions and might have cried but realized it was just too wonderful to be upset.
    Any additional comments?
I hope I find many more stories this rewarding. I will remember this as the first wonderful audiobook I've listened to.

    Members Reviews:
    A very enjoyable Christmas romance!
This was the first book by Caroline Anderson I've read and I really enjoyed it.
Like many Harlequin novels, the title does not give the book justice. The 'billionaire', or Sebastian, is actually a long lost love of the heroine, Georgia, who just so happens to become stranded in a snowstorm in front of his house. They are forced together during the Christmas holidays along with her two-year-old son and sparks fly!
I loved that Sebastian and Georgia have great chemistry from the very beginning and that it's very easy to believe they have a long past. Their struggles continually intensify throughout the plot and really pull on your heartstrings. However, the surprise at the end felt a bit abrupt and un-natural.
Overall, a pretty good Christmas read to get you in the holiday spirit!
    <3 Kristina Leigh
    Five Stars
    love to read
A wonderful contemporary romance from a writer who delivers every time!
A tender, touching and captivating tale of second chances, unexpected twists of fate and love lost and found, Snowed In with The Billionaire is another winner from Caroline Andersonâs talented pen!
Georgia Beckett and Sebastian Corder had been inseparable as children and when friendship had given way to first love, the young lovers had thought that they were going to be spending the rest of their lives together â until shocking secrets of the past had torn them suddenly and cruelly apart. Determined to start afresh and to heal from the wounds that had almost destroyed her, Georgia had vowed to make a life for herself and she had met, married and had a child with a man whom sheâd been fond of, but whom sheâd never loved with the same intensity as Sebastian. Now widowed, Georgia is determined to give her two year old son Josh the best Christmas ever.

    so - so
I've been a Jodi Thomas, Jude Devereaux and Nora Roberts fan for years. I tried this author just to have another choice - it didn't hold my attention like the authors.
Loved the book, but the ending was a bit disappointing
Absolutely loved this book.#2 in the Crosslyn Rise Trilogy. But the end just didn't feel like it should have been. Hopefully when I read #3,which is the final in this series, the end will not leave me hanging.
    Five Stars
    good
Way too much sex for the story.
Basically a soft porn with a bit of plot thrown in. If she would actually use the story of a designer and her work, and how they work with the contractor, it would have been better, as her heroine and hero have interesting stories. But it felt like it was over half sexual scenes. Not sure if I will even bother with book three.
    Sweet Read
Barbara has a knack for laying her groundwork carefully. In this novel, she presents the reader with what appears to be the creating of a couple of nemesis' and moves the reader slowly but certainly toward a brilliant plot. Not only does Gideon find the love of his life... He finds the family he's always dreamed of.
As in the first novel in this series, The Dream, I was disappointed only by the abrupt ending, although it was the one I had hoped for. 4 stars!

The overall story content and interesting characters
Would you be willing to try another one of Kate Hoods performances?

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
    Pretty well
    Any additional comments?
I really loved this story, although a little over descriptive at times. The Narrator is too sickly sweet for my liking.
    Argh!
Struggled through the book - partly narration partly story. The voice of Cassy so irritating. The 'interesting' (read irritating) tidbits around fishing and basically everything else was not making the story more interesting but rather patronising. Not worth a credit.
    Rich and believeable story
The writer engross you in the colourful adventure of Giuseppe, a very likeable Italian migrant who ventured out from his small island hometown to Australia. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the story is actually not centred only on Cassie's side but Joe also played a crucial role. In my opinion Joe's story was more interesting than Cassie's (though it's definitely nice to read both).
    A god yarn
I liked that Di researches her surroundings in her stories I feel like I m revisiting these places that I know so well
    Another great book
Another great story from Di Morrissey. Highly recommend this book and author to any one.

National Readers Choice Award Winner Cake Icing, Butt Budder and Tea Lids has been described as Sweet Home Alabama, Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Practical Magic, and Steel Magnolias all rolled into one. "In the South, if a woman isn't married by age twenty-five, it's time for an intervention." This is the basis behind Delilah and Edna Thibodeaux's dogged determination to make sure their beloved Jezze doesn't end up an old spinster, like her mother and aunt.
But what happens when the eccentric antics of the young girl's crazy Cajun aunt and mother put her search for Mr. Right on a 25-year deadline to potential disaster? And why should she have to prove that they are the experts in marriage intervention, anyway? Because she loves them? Yeah, probably. Because they really don't mean any harm? That too. But when they decide her Mr. Right is T-Roy Bertrand, the butt budder salesman, does she really have to agree? And if she's made up her mind, why does her heart refuse to listen?

Can a book be too sweet?!? Yes, it Can!!!
I should admit upfront Im not a glass is half-full kind of girl and this book is definitely for those half-full type of people. So that should explain the two-star rating from me. This book is just too much good stuff and even the drama is solved before the end of the chapter totally not realistic. I know I know fiction doesnt have to be realistic and like I said this book is for someone else.
This book is a story of a girls life and the influence the folks around her have on her but when the synopsis says 25-year-old Jezebel Thibodeaux you would expect her to be 25 years old before the last two/three chapters in the book. This book is slow going and I mean slow. There is a whole chapter about the new employee at the cakery but the story spends less than a 1/3 of a chapter on a cancer reveal. I just didnt get the authors point. I also didnt like the whole her life isnt complete until she finds her right-man. I guess the feminist in me just thinks there is more to a woman than finding her right-man by age 25.
Another deterrent to the story is the narrator, Peggy Richardson. She does a fabulous job with the accent but every character sounds exactly the same and there are several times when I have no idea who is speaking because they all have the same accent and inflection on words.

The lives of three beautiful daughters were forever changed when, on a sultry night in Midnight, Alabama, a murder-suicide shattered the Wilde family. The girls grew up to live separate lives but now have returned home, each to face a danger no one can see coming. Though exonerated, Quinn still feels the sting of Samantha's doubt, but he can't forget his feelings for her and follows her. Soon after his arrival, a shocking murder terrifies the town, and once again, Quinn is under suspicion. This time, Samantha will not turn her back on the man she loves-even if it means walking into a killer's trap.

The Wilde Sisters are at it again
This sequel features Samantha Wilde Sammie, the romantic sister in the Wilde triplets and follows her journey to love. Samantha was a detective in Atlanta, who quit her job and returned to Midnight, Alabama, when she had a bad break up with her boyfriend, Dr. Quinn Braddock, and at the same time, found out that her parents murder suicide was actually a double homicide and the killer was after her sister Savannah.
After the discovery of the truth behind their parents murder, the Wilde Sisters, Savannah, Samantha and Sabrina decided to join forces and form a Private Investigation business. Four months into their new venture, Quinn comes to town, hoping to reconcile with Sammie. He felt that their feelings were unresolved, and wanted another chance of a life together. The problem plaguing them was that Quinn had sworn off marriage after having a disastrous marriage complete with a cheating ex-wife whose murder had been blamed on him. Plus, he had grown up in a loveless family with two alcoholic parents, and a brother with mental illness. Savannah, on the other hand, had grown up in a close knit family and wanted the complete fairy tale. How can either give up their position and still be happy?
As Quinn and Savannah try to resolve their relationship issues, a gruesome murder occurs in Midnight mirroring Quinns ex-wifes murder. It quickly throws suspicion on the newly arrived Quinn, as he is a stranger in Midnight. Samantha is resolute in her belief in Quinns innocence, but the Midnight locals are clearly uneasy as they wonder if they have a serial killer in their midst. Savannah and Quinn are no longer just trying to save their relationship, but their lives.
This book was just as good as the first one, though I felt that Sammie was willing to settle a lot more than Savvy was. The writing was intriguing, the plot was well laid and the sisters were tight as ever. I was excited that I figured out the killer early on but I woldn't say the story predictable. It was very suspenseful and entertaining.
the author set up book 3 nicely, so I look forward to Bri's book.
