On this, the week of the NYC premiere of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, we’re talking about the pressing questions on everyone’s mind like: just why is Ghostbusters so big in Japan? And why does Japan get all the cool stuff like the cool posters, music video, and Frozen Cafe pop ups? Don’t worry, we also talk about other things this week too like the premiere event in NYC, Hook and Ladder No. 8 being frozen over to benefit a good cause, Adam Savage’s Tested set visit, popcorn buckets, YHS’ Firehouse Fridays, and more! But seriously, why does Japan get all the cool stuff? And why does Ghostbusters resonate so deeply there?

Hey everyone! There’s a lot going on, right? Between Hasbro’s latest HasLab, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, Rise of the Ghost Lord and a tease from the official Ghostbusters channels that something is coming? You know that means we have to podcast, right? It’s a given. Must. Join Troy and Chris this week as they talk about the tease and what it could mean, is it a trailer? Is it a poster? Is it a title reveal for the new Ghostbusters film? Is it all of the above? After that, the boys talk Hasbro’s latest amazing crowdfunding effort that promises a Ghost Trap and PKE Meter for $300, and we’ve been logging some hours on Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed ECTO EDITION, so we’ll throw in a few thoughts. How can you get your hands on some of Chris’ goods (wait, that didn’t sound right) and just how much did his can of Heinz Real Ghostbusters spaghetti sell for? Tune in to find out!

Ghostbusters Day has once again come and passed and, with a new Ghostbusters feature film on the horizon, you can bet there’s plenty to talk about on the podcast. So Chris and Troy will do their best to talk about the videos, the announcements, the teaser posters, Uncle Dan hitting the morning talk show circuit (and Twitter), and everything else that was dished out to us on the calm before the storm. Plus, the boys try to talk about things happening on the island of Manhattan that may be Ecto related, some upcoming Spirits Unleashed content, merch they’re excited about including the Magnoli “Hunting Jacket,” and more!
