Kelly and David take a dive into the deep end.  With Gin and Tonics in-hand, celebrating surviving COVID (again), they recount their trip to Paso Robles and discuss what the average person takes away from an experience.  

Kelly is back at it, taking the lead while David does his best to recover and lead his team in his physical absence.  Kelly uses the famous line from Indiana Jones to illuminate a story of how they reacted to the same encounter with a rattlesnake on a recent hike.  Kelly asks a very deep question about humility and how we frame fear.  

Kelly surprises David and takes the lead while he is down with COVID and trying to manage his team, remotely, through an outbreak at Sonnet Hill.  Kelly asks the question; "Is there really a line between WORK and PLAY, and if so, what defines it?".  Kelly recalls a story of a simple event at a hardware store that had a large impact on the twosome.  The lesson that they came away with reinforces how each of them have lead their careers and is in stark contrast to the norm.  It's no wonder why people view "work" as "work" and not "play".  If we all went to "play" everyday, we'd be much happier, attractive, fulfilled and live longer.  But, sadly, no amount of "handcopters" can solve this true pandemic.

Still in "catch-up" mode after being sidelined with COVID due to human error, Kelly and David recount a story about how their energy attracted a few months to flame.  Kelly talks about the twosome's experience at Home Depot, of all places, where they met like-minded folks during an attempted prank and now may have lifelong friends because of it.  David points out that energy attracts or repels and many don't see the link, they just see the results.  What's your attitude and energy like?  If you are a human repellant, you may want to really drill down on the truth about your energy. 

Kelly and David drill down on what seems to be obvious but somehow still seems foreign to most - "where there's a will there's a way".  It's a fact - and the active ingredient in this recipe is WILL.  Plain and simple, if you want it bad enough, you will get it.  And, if you don't have what you are seeking, it's because you don't want it bad enough.  David shares stories from his distant past about how he used his will power and his creativity and a little huzpah and got what he was looking for.  Better than getting it, was the feeling of overcoming obstacles that others just couldn't seem to overcome - making it more of a trophy than just a prize.  Belly up to the bar and give it a listen.
