With the amount of misinformation that's readily available on the internet, spread through social media, promoted by people of influence and even created by potential adversaries to cause confusion and tension within communities, should the internet be regulated? If so, who should regulate it? If it is regulated, would this be an attack on our freedom of speech and ability to make our own informed decisions? Is the public, in general, ready to make informed decisions on their own, or is the misinformation narrative stronger than the truth? In the first of this 4 part series that will span across 2022 quarterly, Coose and Mowen discuss the latest news in the world of alien disclosure. 2021 was a truly amazing year for the UFO world, with incredible new footage being leaked and reported on by mainstream news channels, to official acknowledgements in the form of Avril Haines (current head of US Intelligence) and Bill Nelson (current head of NASA) both confirming there could be things happening that are beyond our current realm of understanding. 'The Preliminary Assessment: Unidentified Aerial Phenomena' report by the Pentagon was the biggest anti-climax shit show of the decade, but it did offer a new perspective on how Government agencies are now handling the UFO situation: seriously. Aside from an incredible dose of nostalgia, the boys get into the nitty-gritty about today's gaming culture, and if it's actually a positive thing in 2021. Gone seem to be the teenage days of meeting up with your friends down the local park on a Friday night and having a social swift one. Instead, we now have a virtual landscape where we can do all of this and more through party chat without needing to leave the comfort of our home, no matter your age. Has a progressive achievement system of leveling up a beloved character in an RPG, or the enjoyment of destroying your enemy in a competitive PVP showdown replaced the old social ways of the outdoors? This week Coose and Mowen discuss the cyclical time theory and how it could affect our understanding of the afterlife. The way we perceive time is usually linear, with there being a beginning, a middle, and an end for how things start and finish. The cyclical time theory counters this by suggesting that time is a circle and that anything can happen at the same time as something else on the circle. This hypothesizes that when we pass over into the afterlife, we could come back at a point in time on the circle in the past, present, or future. As well as this, we could also be living alongside a different layer of time on the circle, and that layer could be happening in the past, present, or future too! Could this explain supernatural experiences, and maybe it's just another point in time happening alongside ours that for some reason we can see?
