Gigi's Midnight Rants

This episode is just as the title says, it's a few minutes of a Gigi rant ending with me asking about your thoughts and opinions on true crime. If any. As well as anything else you'd like to hear me discuss or maybe have a rant you'd like me to read? I'd love to help you get your struggles off your chest and maybe solved if possible! This is a bit of a refresher episode on who I am, what this podcast is about at a very quick glance. As well as an update for older listeners from the last season who are curious about where in the heck has Gigi been and what she's planning on doing from here? Don't forget that Embers does have a YouTube channel that has a more in depth video vlog account of some of the things you may hear about within this podcast as well as any given episode. It's all connected is basically what I'm saying here. That's probably the quickest way to get any context if needed. I sincerely appreciate you listening tho and would love to hear things you are often times frustrated about. Or things that you ponder upon late at night while trying today just catch some sleep. This episode was recorded in 2 separate sessions. Both of them discuss different things I have ran into as a content creator on YouTube and having a personal life in the mean time has certainly had it's affect on me as well. So this is a pretty standard Gigi rant of bitch and moan a bit while sorting out some things thru the process and the podcast. In this much longer than any previous episode and not even close to a rant I am joined by my daughter, and yes my one and only daughter but is no longer a little girl, Holly. We discuss a few random topics of discussion as she will be a guest co host on the next season! So I am so happy to bring her on board and with an entirely different perspective on things than I sometimes, this is surely going to be a season to be excited for. So please do be kind and also remember I do all of the editing and recording for the podcast myself and am literally self taught in every technical department that I am crazy enough to tackle. Podcasting being the latest and hopefully final project to documenting a life full of ups and downs and all that's in between from just a regular old gal from the south east United States. I do admit I am not everyone's cup of tea. So I'm gonna leave y'all with this one, I sure hope you come back as it was a pleasure to have you all. Welcome back ranters and rantees this is another episode that's a bit more laid back and a recap sort of. What's to come and what has happened since the last one. I would love to know what you all think of the true crime genre on TV as well as on YouTube or Netflix, however you get your visual feeds. 😁 I am always open to hear what you guys and gals would like me to talk about and things you'd just like to share with me or our audience. I am thinking of adding an occasional segment where I read off questions from the audience and answer them during the podcast. So let me know your thoughts on that as well. In this unscheduled episode I am discussing things around the topics of mental health and taking time to be present in the moment. This episode originally being recorded and uploaded on Memorial Day weekend of 2022 after an extremely tragic event, which would be the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, Tx. My deepest condolences and prayers are with the many victims families and the first responders as well as the other students and community in that area. I also talk about my recent experience on a channel of a friend and co-creator on YouTube and would be so happy if you go and check her channel out. Especially if you Love True Crime.
