Christmas Eve brings one of two surprise treats! 

From Tarquin's Cornish Distillery, this is The Cornish Christmas Gin, made especially for the Craft Gin Club Advent Calendar. Full of lovely tonka bean and clementine citrus flavours with some spice to round it off.

For Christmas Eve, eve, the 23rd we head to Wales and try Sophie's first ever Welsh gin!

GŴYR gin is full of strong fennel flavours, with an undercurrent of grapefruit and definitely takes you to the Gower coastline where it is made.

What do you find in a English country garden? Well, a lot of the flavours from Day 22's gin!

Cambridge dry gin is full of fresh botanicals found in the distiller's garden, and is flavoursome and reminiscent of walking through trees in blossom. A wonderful gin!

Trying my first ever American gin today on the shortest day, and it did not disappoint!

Packing a punch at 45%, Chemist American Gin is full of flavours from the mountains in North Carolina where it is created. Does not leave a burn however!

We journey to North Yorkshire for the Whitby Gin, Bramble & Bay. 

More bay than bramble, it has more herbiness than blackberry, but still an enjoyable gin.

Our gin journey takes us to South Africa today, with the Pienaar and Son Orient Gin.

Full of fiery spice with citrus undertones. Not for the faint-hearted!

Trying another gin from one of Sophie's favourite gin distillers, Warner's, though this one she had yet to try!

A top class Sloe Gin which deserves to be highly rated with sweet and sour cherry notes, alongside spice and dark chocolate.
