We regularly hear about how comparison is a dangerous game. With the social media landscape of today’s world, it can be so easy to fall into the pitfalls of life when comparing yourself to others.

And you know what, that’s true! I agree. And I strongly admonish you to avoid those pitfalls of comparison too. 

But there’s another side, a positive angle to comparison that is talked about far less. Inspiration, motivation, learning, lifting each other up, these are magical things that can largely come from looking at others. So let’s talk about it, let’s think about having a mindset shift on comparison, and learning to decipher the difference between dangerous comparison and powerful comparison.
